Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Kokomo" - does anyone else think (the late) Carl Wilson looks like Fearsome Beard?  And John Stamos (RAWR!) on steel drums!  Drawbacks - too many tits and not enough dicks, and Tommygurl Cruise (speaking of dicks!).

Please keep TRAVEL PENGUIN in your thoughts as he continues his post-surgery journey!

  1. Thank you, how sweet of you! This is the first I have mentioned this, the sensation in the bottom of my feet is starting to return, there is a long way to go, but it is already making it easier to walk and my balance has noticeably improved over the past three days.

  2. I really thought I wouldn't be first this week, A.M. (Perhaps I'm not by the time I press the 'publish' button). I saw that you'd posted this some three hours ago but, with my computer relentlessly clawing its way to inevitable expiration (which must be soonish now), I've got to be choosy as to which sites and blogs I open because it likes to punish me when there's a video on a given page by freezing me out for hours on end. But so far so good. You will therefore understand why I dare not attempt to play this, though do know it, of course.
Now I realise that recently I've been raining on your parade with your choices rather a lot, and I'm afraid this one too has (to me) certain unwanted associations. In particular, I recall this particular release coming out in 1988 as the B.B.s gave their vocal support to one Bush Snr in your then upcoming Pres elections. I just remember then being a bit deflated by the news though it didn't trouble me that much further - just one of those silly associations one makes, you know.

Hope all are well and lively chez toi et al. Okay here, though our badly needed Summer STILL refuses to come in and stay - only the occasional tantalising demonstration of what it ought to be like, then it disappears. Must be El Nino, the bastard!

If I undergo an absence from these pages (blogs generally) sometime coming you'll understand the reason. Chances are I'll be sitting here fuming at being shut out from the world, but if so I'll still do all I can to make my presence known somehow. So fret not!

    Byeeeeee for now.

    1. I've only just seen it just now, A.M. - and, (Good Heavens!) although I love you to bits for making it the answer has just GOT to be 'no'. Although I'm flummoxed into wondering what it is I've ever done for you and RTG, with deep regrets nothing could induce me to accept that most generous of offers. I'd never be able to live it down if I did! No, I've got to solve my own problems, unpleasant as living with them may be, and hoping it's only temporary.
Btw: I have had another similar offer (NOT from another blogger) and I've also refused his, so I hope that knowing that will salve any hurt you may feel, which I certainly don't intend.
Also ought to say that I didn't see your offer until now because opening up certain blogs is such a chore nowadays that I have to make sure that I've got enough time ahead in case the damn screen freezes, which it regularly does.

Anyway, thanks again, my darling - and also from my pussies who can't believe your generosity. But when I tell them that it's typical of you they just smile and close their eyes in contentment!

      Love you (of course!)

    3. Well, thank you so much for that, A.M., but it's no more than you've done for me - in fact you've done even more than that because (as you probably recall my saying) I have absolutely NO friends 'in the flesh' anywhere on earth (apart from my two pussies, of course), so my entire social contact is through the blogs. But let's not get into a game of 'mine is bigger than yours'. Thank you for what you said, which I shall treasure with all the other goodies you've written.
Kisses times a million - and one.

  4. Good morning tootes! I have no idea why, but this is one song I can't take. For some reason when it's in a mix of songs, it always bring me down. But I'd give up all my feta cheese and possible gin to have just ONE HOUR of hot sex with John Stamos, now or then!!!!!!!! And speaking of blowing, I'll be on way shortly to see the Wanamaker Organ concert. Should be blow a pipe for you?

  5. That's perfect butt bongo music and my hands are feeling slappy! My idea of a beard is something you grow all over your body, not a silly little chin tuft.

  6. Morning AM.
I'm with Maddie. Turn down the volume, and show me Stamos and Stamos only and I might like this song.

I must be the only kid that grew up in California and does not like the Beach Boys.

    Anyhoo, have a faboosh weekend!

  9. Makes me homesick for Southern California. I need a pina colada and a nice cozy place on the beach where I can watch the dicks go by.
Too many tits tend to block the sun......

(love the chocolate sour cream cake!!!!)

  12. Hi Anne Marie, I'm baaack! I was just in So. Cal. a couple of weeks ago (Huntington Beach) visiting relatives. And got back to NE. earlier this week from visiting Spo in Phoenix. I had a great time and I hope I wasn't to big a pain on UrSpo someone and their cute puppy Harper. One night we even went to a certain type of bar that had all kinds of male hotties, I think you would have liked it. Take care my dear. Randy.
