Saturday Night #BlackLivesMatter Protest Party! (Part 18)

This is how I am feeling right now.

In memory of Walter Williams Jr.

"As people exercise their right to protest all across the country––let the undeniable paths of our progress be a guide going forward: peaceful, sustained protest; strategic, committed organizing; and purposeful, overwhelming participation at the ballot box.” - Barack Obama, August 2020

This week's guest stars - THE FOUR TOPS!

But first, a Halloween prize for Spo

  1. The Four Tops! I had a friend who thought the song was about aliens: Ain’t no woman like the One-eyed Gott!

  2. nI saw a video the other ay that made me think of you. The Supremes and The Temptation on The Ed Sullivan Show singing a medley of their hits; only The Supremes sang The Temptations, and the The Temptations sang The Supremes.

  4. 'Bernadette' was a hit here just at the time when I was a-courting a young lady called......, yes, Bernadette. I say no more - though there's not that much more to tell.

Just a few mins ago heard that Sean Connery has died, aged 90 - most people's fave 007, stressing the 'most'.
Gracioush thanksh and reshpectsh to you, Shir. R.I.P. [shhhhh].

Speak to you again the other side of Nov 3rd, W.Q, when we dare to hope that the heavy clouds of the past 4 years are now parting.
Have a good, though probably nervous, w/e.

  5. What a great collection. I have one burned to CD... I need to find it now and put it in my car. Standing in the Shadow of Love is my fave... though it's hard to have one, among so many wonderful songs. Sorry to hear about Sean. I still remember his film with Catherine Zeta Jones... staring in disbelief, mostly. But, that's Hollywood. Happy Halloween, toots. Oh... and bring home Pennsylvania! Paint it Blue!
