For your much-missed friend, even 59 seems a cruelly early age at which to have to go. <br /><br />I also keep a 'farewell list', marking the anniversaries of departed ones, family, relations, as well as 'very special' friends.<br />In my disco-dancing days, after just about all of my few friends started dropping away (the big 'A', of course), I'd mentally dedicate particular dances to their individual memories - and soon I'd be gyrating around the disco floor with tears in my eyes. A painful yet lovely experience.<br /><br />Btw: I've happened to see that you are unaccountably missing from my 'birthday list'. Have I been inattentive in reading your blogs?
