Pic of the Day - May 14



The dogwood tree has finally bloomed!  But no fragrance...quelle dommage. :(

  4. Good morning!

    I love dogwoods. We have a little one in our back yard.

    One winter, some neighborhood rabbits (who were supposed to be hibernating!!) took a liking to its bark and almost killed it.

    We now have a cage around its trunk to keep the "bad bunnies" away, and it has recovered nicely. :-)

  5. My dogwood got clobbered by a falling branch and that killed it. :-(

  6. Very pretty!!!! And I'm so glad the dogwood waited until we were done with all our freezing nights. Weather report shows we're going to get a heat wave in VA. how is it in Philly? Hope your blooms don't go ka-blooey because Mother Nature can't get her temperature shit together...

      currently 49F at 12:30a. the heat is on.

      my lily of the valley just popped open this week; it's late; normally it blooms the last week in april. the peonies will be the next to flower.

      mother nature must be having a loooooong streak of PMS.
