Um, Elton john, 'Someone Saved My Life Tonight' and where are my fifty points and what are they good for?
ReplyDeleteThe cats look like they are all assimilating nicely.
I can't with cherry tomatoes. I love all tomatoes but cherry tomatoes and I have no explanation for it.
Bell peppers. Yum.
Our Crepe Myrtles are blooming, too; very pretty!
ding ding ding, YOU WIN! and as richard marx sang, the 50 points "don't mean nothing".
Deleteglad you enjoyed the rest of the pix.
The family seem to be having a lovely sunday. Your vegetable and flower garden is lovely.
ReplyDeletethank you dear.
DeletePS - spouse is on facebork if ya wanna friend him; see "raymond gunther". I have no account on facebork and never will.
Thank you Anne Marie. I do Facebook more than blogs now a days. There are few Raymond Gunther so I am not sure which one I should befriend. Maybe he should befriend me : Nadege Schoenfeld. My profile photo is of the grand canyon with orange and blue tones.
Deletehis profile has a black cat picture (that's steven, who passed in 2012).
DeleteI found him. I guess he doesn't go on Facebook too often. Thank you AM!
Deleteno he doesn't. the only reason he has a facebork account is to keep in touch with former co-workers.
DeleteThose garden pics are wonderful, but the ones of the kittehs steal my heart every time. You are so fortunate in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteCheers to the gin and tonic, too!
my girls are all so loving!
DeleteUMMM... you have bar. You've been holding out on us... WHEN'S THE PARTY??? ;-)
ReplyDeletewell, ya gotta git yer ass up here...
DeleteKitty bartender....good training AM
ReplyDelete"Get me a Bromide, and put some gin in it!"
(Double points if you know where this line came from)
I have no clue; spouse thinks it might be from "the front page".
Deleteyeah, these cats need to earn their cat food/litter/treats!
I envy your garden. I bet the garden fresh tomatoes are wonderful.
ReplyDeletespouse eats the raw tomatoes; says they are firm and dee-lish! I like tomatoes every way but raw; nasty slimy things.
DeleteThere's nothing more satisfying than a summer garden and a parcel of cats. I didn't know the song, so I'm minus fifty points........
ReplyDelete.....but I certainly know that look after having too many gin-n-tonics.
bwhahahahahahaha! so do I, jon! ;-b
DeleteYay for tomatoes! Mine still have a while to go.
ReplyDeleteit's been very cool around here; don't know when the big boys are going to be ready and ripe.
DeleteWhat a lovely selection of snaps today, A.M. - and the garden ones are almost as nice.
ReplyDeleteHow hot are your peppers? And isn't belladonna dreadfully poisonous? So just for looking at, then? - Or maybe smelling too.
I was going to google your song line (I'd have confessed to having done so) but Bob S. saves me the trouble. I still don't recognise it so will have to play the song, which is never a bad thing to do with Eltie - well, mostly.
Btw: I notice that your pussies seem to be as predominantly female, while mine, both residents and visitors, are nearly all M (albeit mostof them having been doctored), the sole exception being visitor, Tiny Tortie, who's also the most pugnacious of the lot, scaring off all the other boys - even Fatty Patchy who's three times her size is frightened of her and keeps his distance. So is your choice of females pure chance or deliberate? (I'd assumed that Oreo, with a name ending in 'o' like Orfeo, would have been a 'he', but I see I'm wrong.
Anyway, as far as I'm concerned you just cannot post TOO many pics of them. And they must surely be getting on with each other better now, realising that they are stuck as companions and can't do a thing about it. (Hee hee!)
thank you dear! the peppers are the sweet kind; spouse is not fond of the hot ones. the belladonna was planted by the previous homeowner.
DeleteI have had male pussies (sydney, kelly, steven) now all deceased (2002, 2006, 2012). the girls (meredith, nyla, gigi, oreo) picked US to give them a forever home. the gender doesn't matter, the love does. mine have all been fixed too.
I want some toms !!!
ReplyDeleteunfortunately, they will crush in the post. :(
DeleteOh, my... How your garden grows. I have a brown thumb. Could be the soil. Could be my inability to focus and follow through. Congrats on your success. Nice pussy, too! - Uptonking from Wonderland Burlesque
ReplyDeletespouse takes good care of his veggies - food and water and soil. my hands were not born to touch dirt (I'm a born and bred city kid; we touched concrete).
Deleteso you like pussy, eh? ;-b
does your boyfriend know about this pussy feeling?
AM, you get BONUS POINTS for displaying your cherry tomatoes in a Fiesta bowl! :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd I have seen your spouse have the same eyes as Miss Oreo (Orea?) after drinking gin!
I would LOVE to hear THOSE stories - was he a wild one in his youth?
DeleteOMG< your cats are gorgeousssssss!!!!
ReplyDeleteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, welcome, first time visitor! thank you; they are shelter cats we rescued. nyla has been with us since 2012. oreo and gigi just came home with us in may.
Deletecome back early and often!
