I've been up nearly 24 hours. I had no problem waking up at 5am to get myself acclimated to my new schedule. As for getting to bed at a decent hour? Nope. LOL!
M'ning A.M. Mr Palmer here in ultry-sultry mood is a surefire winner, this reaching #9 here in 1986. No news from here, apart from there being a disappointing throwback to Winter temps this w/e. Can only hope it's just a last gasp, Spring being forecast to return towards mid-week. Pussies are fine - though there's concern over the most recent move-in, little Tortie, who's ballooning little body is getting me alarmed. If it's something other than her over-eating I don't know what I'm gonna do as I've no idea where she came from. Don't want even to think about it. Trust all is well in Phillyland - with you, hubby and little 'uns? See ya later - Byeeeeeee!
spring starts next friday/saturday; we still have some rawther (a nod to spo) large snow piles in the back yard from where our plow guy pushed it. otherwise everything is pure mud from rain/melting snow.
all is well at my house with everyone; no worries.
Happy Weekend AM. Now THAT is one of my favorite Palmer tunes! We're cold and drizzly, but expected to rebound tomorrow with mid-70s and you know what that means: yard work! [sarcasm font] YAY!! [sarcasm font/]
I've always liked this song, by Robert Palmer and the original by Sherrell. The Robert Palmer video was "groundbreaking" as I recall, with the severe-looking women dressed and groomed alike, playing instruments. Very unusual for the times.
OMB, it's gone! I know he looked (to me anyway) slightly ill in his last post. I just sent him a private e-mail, so hopefully I will hear soon. thanks for the heads-up!
I miss Robert Palmer. :-(
