Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Dancing Machine" - back in the day...

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MISTRESS MADDIE!

  1. THIS is how I like to remember the Jacksons - - when they were normal...(or as normal as they ever got).......

It's presently pouring rain. I'm slipping and sliding.....but I'm dancing.

  2. Wonderful!
When we saw these kids, so many years ago, who could say what would become of them?

  4. I like the J5 not what the J5 became.

We're off to SC Pride, so we'll be dancing machines all over Columbia!

  6. This is a new song for me. I like it!

I'm feeling much better now. It's going to be a somewhat hot day, but the evenings are getting quite cool.

  7. G'd Afty, A.M.,
Add me to those who didn't know this particular ditty. Maybe it wasn't released as a single.

All fine here. Nothing out-of-the-ordinary to report.
You'll be much too far away to be feeling the effects of Patricia (and her offspring), currently blowing the cobwebs away in Texas - after seemingly leaving Mex more unscathed than was feared she might.
Our Autumn is following form - temps lowering gradually but nothing so sudden as to scare us, at least not yet.

Hope that Alles in Ordnung ist with you - gleichweise, Dein Mann und Deine Pussies.

    Let's speak later, then,
    Byeeeeeeeee.

    1. I don't think this song got the airplay that "abc" and "I want you back" received. and MJ was growing up and the voice had changed.

the trees are starting to get more colourful now; cooler days and nights help.

this week will see a fall cleanup in my backyard; I have a landscape guy come in and remove all the dead plants/weeds from around the house & garage, lay down mulch, trim the bushes (heh heh heh, I said "bush"). I would rather pay him than expose my allergies to the weeds; besides, he is a professional and I have no clue about anything outdoors.

snorgle your pussies and give them extra head skritches for me. Règle les chats!

    2. Did you have to pick your 'landscape guy' out of a catalogue? I can just see him now - handsomely bearded, shirt partly unbuttoned to show furry chest and in low-slung Levis. I fancy him already. - Oh, I see. He's got none of those things? Pity!

Pussies feeling the chill in the air now so I've got to start spending money on putting on the heating to keep them content, when I would have tried to postpone it till later. Still, one does what one has to do.

  8. If you google "Michael Jackson Robot" on Youtube there are some great dancing clips.

When we all learned years later what was going on behind the scenes for groups and families like these there's always a twinge of regret for enjoying the music, but good music is still good music!!

I miss variety and talent shows (a la "The Carol Burnett show) that just showcased the entertainment without adding judges into the mix (a la "America's Got Talent").

Have a great weekend and if my neighbours see me dancing I guess I'll have to blame it on the boogie .... and DJ Philly Toughbitch.

    1. tru fax dat; behind the scenes in THAT family was a nightmare, and it explains why the kids and now the grandkids are fucked up.

MJ stole plenty of moves from james brown; google JB on youtube and watch the footwork of "the hardest working man in show business".

"blame it on the boogie" - ooooooh, another song I haven't posted!
