Saturday Night Protest Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Bad Boy" - Dump, Kushner, Dump Junior, Eric the Dump, Manafort, Flynn, Sessions, Pence, Ryan, McConnell, etc etc etc.  We the people are coming for you; justice WILL be served!

RESIST, INSIST, PERSIST, ENLIST! (thank you Hillary!)

ORGANIZE!  MOBILIZE!  CALL OUT THE H8!

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Kelly (July 18)!

PPS - Eric the Dump sounds like a Monty Python character, doesn't it?😜

  2. G'day, W.Q.,
This one takes me back to my dancing years like few others. It was very popular in all the discos I frequented then in various parts of Europe and even now I just have to close my eyes and I'm right back there. Lovely memories.

Hope you and all with you are well in Philly - as well as those elsewhere or, at least, all those who deserve to be.
We are enjoying manageable Summer temps here - nice, and as long as it stays this way we'll be fine.
Best wishes to all, including RTG with his undoubtedly continuing struggles - and special greetings to your little furry ones from self, Noodles and Patchie.
Do have have a highly enjoyable w/e with extended relaxed moments.
    For the present, then......
    Byeeeeeee!

    1. I bet you could shake a tail feather like no one's business! ;-)

it's a cool sunny sunday morning here; cats are taking their morning after-breakfast naps, and RTG and I have coffee and our computers and the newspaper.

RTG has a follow-up with the cardiologist this week.

how are you and the furkids doing? I have thought about you this week.

today will be house chores (laundry etc. for me, lawn care for RTG).

it's supposed to get hot and steamy again this week; summer in the city is not comfortable without the air conditioner!

    2. Your first line above, W.Q. I was once 'doing the rounds' with a French friend one night in Paris, including disco-visits where I danced and he cruised. When we got back to his place and I was zonked out on both G & Ts and loss of energy he had an early morning phone call from un ami. He thought I'd gone to sleep and couldn't understand enough French anyway, but I was still alert and listening - and heard him laughing about the night we'd just had and how I was a terrible dancer who moved about like a puppet. When his call was over I pretended to be still out, but it clouded the rest of my stay. Actually it was a case of bruised ego - and on the whole I think he'd been right.

Thanks for thinking of me. My thoughts have largely been on you-know-what and I'm still trying to maintain a brave face, but it slips at some point every day. It might be better when I get tomorrow over with, the first week anniversary. It's not easy.

      Sunday good wishes to all.

    3. I know how familiar you are with the dreadful experience of this kind of loss, W.Q., so I try not to make it sound like my suffering was/is unique. But it's been a comfort knowing that such as you - one among so many - are out there and understand the emotions.

And I must thank you for posting the lovely pics of your lovable threesome. How I wish I could cuddle them right now!

    4. they can be cuddlebugs, or totally aloof with a "don't touch me!" attitude.

    5. Exactly like my Patchie, while Noodles resents any physical touching at all - except for the occasional combing.

  4. True story ... years ago I LOATHED MSM. Loathed them. Then I had a dream where I was a roadie in Estefan's band and, literally, the next day, I was a fan.

Yeah, weird. Me; weird. I'm weird. What can I say!

    Faboosh weekend AM.

  7. I loved this music back in the day. It's too bad you don't hear it much on the radio, even Sirius XM, anymore. I actually got a full night's rest last night, so this song sounds even more glorious right now.

    Have a great weekend!

  11. Are any bad boys popular with the girls these days? I thought Charlie Sheen had given them a bad name.

  12. I love all the fabulous things you sent to John. I tried to knit and I just could not get my fingers to work.
I was going to send some of my cards over to the show for Aunt Glad's table but those plans got waylaid.
As for Trump my x is his "brother" mirror image of the contractor builder.
The comment he made in France was something my x has said.

    cheers parsnip, thehamish and george
