Saturday Night Protest Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Bend Me Shape Me" - Robert Mueller is bending/shaping Paul Manafort!

"Keep believing. Keep marching. Keep building. Keep raising your voice. Every generation has the opportunity to remake the world.” - Barack Obama, July 2018

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Linda (September 13) and RJ (September 16) and Jeffrey Breen (September 18), Sassybear's husband!

  1. Thanks for putting in your Obama quote. It is nice to remember that we once had a president that acted like a president and not a little boy in a sandbox throwing sand in everyone's eyes.

  3. Thank you! I was so thrilled when I heard that Manafort flipped. I hope the entire Trump crime family goes to prison or is forced to flee to Moscow to seek political asylum.

  5. We're waiting for the tweets, W.Q. Is he finally lost for words, even the usual baby ones? Doubt it, but it's fun to watch - being just like Agatha Christie's 'And Then There Were None'.

I see that temps are more in the comfort zone for you now so you might be able to enjoy a long-missed pleasant little w/e. Hope that Florence and its effects didn't/hasn't got too close.

Regards to all, and wishes too from B (currently sleeping in kitchen) & P (sleeping on my bed, on my pillow).

    1. It was okay, thanks. My first time in seeing her for 3.5 years, unforgivably long overdue as she turned 80 last month. I might do a posting on my day out to nearby Whitby (of Abbey and Dracula fame). Got plenty of photos.

Patchie was mightily pleased to have been 'rescued' from the cattery. He caused no problem to them though he's been all over me since coming back home. I think he sees me as his 'saviour'!
I was worried about Blackso as I know nothing about him, his owners, vet status etc, so couldn't put him in the same place. Just had to lock him out and hope he'd cope - which he did. When I returned he was asleep in the back garden and when I called him he looked up dozily then put his head back down, annoyed for my disturbing him. When he at last came in he nibbled a bit of food and went off again so he's obviously been eating somewhere, which could well be at his proper home. Anyway, now I'm back it's all the old routine again. P is sleeping here on the desk beside me, B is slumbering in the kitchen - all as though nothing unusual had ever happened. Heigh ho!

  6. The Best of the American Breed? They had more than one song? I love this one. They became Rufus later on, so, Tell Me Something Good may work here also.
I almost always enjoy your musical selections, Carebear. This one gets me a little nostalgic for my semi rotten childhood.

  8. Hi Anne Marie. I have missed your banter with the Mistress. Seems we were all gone. I must say, it was a great vacation being away and NOT hearing about you know who.

  11. Love this song! I don't think anyone could get 'it' up for Manafort. Stealing his Clairol would be on my list. Oh, and Double Bubble bubblegum for Ivankia's hair. Lots of it.
A.M., you bring out the bad in me!
