Come Peek Inside My Workplace

About a month ago, the penguin posted a pix of his office environment.

Not to be outdone and given the idea, here is where I spend 40 hours M-F:

Yes, I sit out front as the office manager/guard dog.  Yes, that IS a typewriter on my desk; I use it sometimes.  I like to keep my desk neat.  What items can YOU spot?

  1. The first thing that catches my eye is the rainbow light (?) behind your computer screen, but I'm not sure what it is? And I like how neat your office is. I always liked to keep a neat office too. Can't work in chaos!

I purchased a smaller version for about $30, but I cannot remember the online store.

  2. I really enjoyed looking closely at this! Fascinating! I spotted: a cane, orange juice, some sort of rainbow thing near your computer monitor, a cat calendar, a string of colored lights, and some sort of POP figurine (you must tell us what it is!)

My work desk is so dull. I'm in the middle of the front office and my desk is on display for everyone, all the time. There's not really much room to make it my own. I like your space!!

  4. I spotted that you are a tidy person, I'm surprised, I would have pictured you being a little messy because you seem carefree.

    1. I am a total slob at home. at work I must be able to find anything at a moment's notice. at home, I know where the important papers are and screw the rest.

  5. I see a map on the wall showing Greenland bigger than the U.S.A., bigger than Canada even. If the same map is in a certain White House office no wonder a certain person wants to buy it.

  6. I see many items but, what ketches my eye the most, is how nicely organized you have everything there.

  7. I love a neat desk! Also love the map and the rainbow light. Christmas lights? Is that an electric pencil sharpener or a camera?

  8. Is that an electric pencil sharpener in front of the typewriter? Very nice. I'm fairly neat, too, even in my drawers... not those drawers.

    1. yes, it is a pencil sharpener, an old panasonic. some of us here might enjoy peeking into your drawers...(just sayin')...

  9. I KNOW I DON'T see a gin bottle. Must be in a drawer below.

I also don't see a cuss jar. With you, that thing would be filled in a few hours sweet cheeks.

  10. I lone the typewriter and the map. The little rainbow (?) and the neat file are a plus! Like you, I keep my pencils in a holder!
    The calendars are cute!

This is a cool challenge! I’m gonna think about sharing my office...

    XoXo

  13. I’d be prepared to sack my assistant if you’d relocate to London Bridge. You use a typewriter? When we’re you born 1896???

    1. there are some forms that require a typewriter. I cannot print that small and legible. and I was born in 1954, TYVM.

that's a sweet offer, but I am afraid I know nothing about the interior design industry. I would be of no help to you.
