Saturday Night Social Distancing Protest Party (Part 9)!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

David said on Dr. Spo's blog that we might as well all dance.

FUCK YEAH!  You don't have to ask me twice!  Get down on it!

"Keep believing. Keep marching. Keep building. Keep raising your voice. Every generation has the opportunity to remake the world.” - Barack Obama, July 2018

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY (May 17) to Sassybear!

  1. Now tootes, this line up could have only been better if you took that damn Bobby Brown out and put a ABBA ditty in.

I can be a nit picky bitch I told you. Although to be honest I don't know who some of these are, and was never a ZZ Top fan. I didn't even know those songs till I just listened.

  2. Not especially in dancing mood this week, W.Q. Today should have been the annual Eurovision Song Contest with all its campiness and silliness and its OTT razzmatazz. Now, for the first time in its 60+ year history, it's been cancelled because of....you know, circs - and tonight especially I'll be really missing it, watching instead Graham Norton leading us through several hours of reminiscences. Oh well, there's always next year (we assume and hope).

    Have a pleasant w/e y'all, won't you?

    1. an ABBA song????? yuck!

our state gov has us in lockdown til june 4. 3/4 of PA is open with restrictions; they had fewer cases. since my area is close to philly, and philly has had a large number of cases, we are not permitted to open. I'd rather be safe than sorry. masks are still required to visit the stores.

I personally cannot wait to go back to a regular routine. safe smooches and virtual hugs to you and the pussies.

    2. OK, if you say run, I'll Really-Fast-Walk with you! Anyway, my walking pace is quicker than many people's running paces. Besides my legs are 6 feet long. We'll manage.

  6. What number is your radio station? I want to tune in. Love Machine is the bomb. As is Brick's Dazz. Mary Chapin Carpenter is a fave. And I still mourn the loss of Andy Gibb (stupid little boy). Thanks for the nostalgia trip.

  12. Glad to see all are well! For what's it's worth you could do all Robert Palmer songs and I'd be happy. And it offical... the Ptown season is off for the most part. All cabaret and drag shows cancelled as well as most events and venue shows. So there goes my shows and pay checks and tips. I will now have to seriously think what the next chapter will bring. One week from Memorial Day, and it's still a virtual ghost town here. The fall out begins.....
