Saturday Night #BlackLivesMatter Protest Party! (Part 11)

This is how I am feeling right now.

Say his name - JACOB BLAKE.

"
As people exercise their right to protest all across the country––let the undeniable paths of our progress be a guide going forward: peaceful, sustained protest; strategic, committed organizing; and purposeful, overwhelming participation at the ballot box.” - Barack Obama, August 2020

Kicking it old school this week.

  1. Excellent news that the cops have removed Jason Blake's handcuffs when there was such a high risk of him jumping from the hospital bed to which he'd been shackled and darting out into the night. Due gratitude to them for having acted so......erm....humanely(?).

  13. Every single one of these is a winner, Carebear. I never heard of the Royalettes but I've heard the song before. Probably paid no attention to the name of the group.

  15. I love this weekend's music, and I hope that Orange Skidmark catches COVID. Did you see him tell that officer in St. Charles, LA to sell his autograph on eBay for $10k yesterday? Just when you think it couldn't get worse than him tossing paper towel rolls to Puerto Ricans.

  16. For all your sakes, I sure hope the US comes to it's senses. If four more years incurs, god only knows what what be left of the United States as the world knows it. I dare even say no chance of any return.

  18. I enjoyed going old school. Love those tunes. Obama's quote makes me sad for a lot of reasons but I mostly miss a president that says something intelligent and actually quotable. Take care.
