I was not familiar with too many of these. I knew his newer stuff, but I was never too fond of his voice, I have no idea why. But I did enjoy that Dan Rather quote. I hadn't heard that.
Now Im going to bed early. Why I thought it was a good idea to eat a chocolate lava cake at 12:30 at night is beyond me????? But like Sylvia Fine I did lick both sides the fork real good.
I used to have the most amazing Smokey Robinson and the Miracles collection... I wonder who nipped it? Love all these songs... thank you, Anne Marie... my favorite DJ. Keep the tunes a'coming.
And I quote 'When Smokey sings, I hear violins'. My all time favorite Motown group next to the Temptations! Ooh, Baby Baby still gives me shivers. Thanks Carebear, keeper of the flame :)
ABC!!!!!!!!!!!! Duchess Deedles!!!! Now that was a song I used to love!!!!!! A very happy feel good song. And you know I loved the video because it started out with a vintage Citroen. What a blast form the past.
Oh my lands, my mother was a huge Smokey Fan!!!! Now this week two of the videos showed up, the rest are blank boxes. Maybe I'm drinking and just drunk? I swear my icon picture sums up my face.
