In Celebration of Black History Month (Part 1)
To celebrate Black History Month, I am going to feature great Black singers, dancers, actors who have stood the tests of time and the civil rights struggles they endured.
Oh, my... the sisters are bringing it today. Nancy Wilson. I keep forgetting about her... she gets lost between Dinah Washington and Sarah Vaughan. Adore. And Gladys... always a welcome voice. An absolute celebration. Donna, et. al. Thank you, Ms. Anne Marie... DJ Supreme. Kizzes.
What an incredible selection of talent and inspiration. Eartha Kitt and C'est Si Bon was on one of my crossword puzzles today. You'll have me singing all night (but I'll bet you hear that all the time).
This playlist is so hot is not even funny. I'm always amazed at the Black excellence of these performers. I think I'm going to follow your lead and I'll write a post about BHM. Always good to keep in mind.
I did get your name & address. unfortunately, the 14" of snow last monday and the 3" more we got yesterday have prevented me from posting your package. I have an MD appointment tomorrow morning, so I will try to post your package then.
