Sandy - Part Deux

Since Kelly started it, I'mma gonna one-up him with a local dude.

I am in a wait-n-see mode about this possible storm.

Smooches to all, especially my boyfriends along the eastern seaboard.

  1. We're supposed to get rained on, but even that is looking unlikely.
    Stay safe.
    And dry!

    1. well, not so sure. I hope it comes to naught, but...

monday-tuesday should be interesting. at least I have a fireplace and plenty of wood (heh heh heh, I said "wood") for heating and cooking. our emergency lanterns are good to go. saturday I gather the plastic stuff off the lawn and into the garage (trash cans, pink flamingos, chairs).

there will probably be a blog post from the experience, so stay tuned!

  3. Latest prediction is for the storm center to hit Philly area. Your house to be exact!! Run!

The big thing with this storm is not going to be the rain or storm surge. It's going to be the wind knocking down trees which in turn knock down power lines. Be prepared to be without power for many days next week. We are preparing ourselves, as our apartment may temporarily become a 10th-floor walk-up.

    1. if it hits my house, I must be a bad girl! I am more concerned with my DE boyfriends right there on the coast.

10th floor walk-up; I would probably have a heart attack.
