Very pretty!!!! And I'm so glad the dogwood waited until we were done with all our freezing nights. Weather report shows we're going to get a heat wave in VA. how is it in Philly? Hope your blooms don't go ka-blooey because Mother Nature can't get her temperature shit together...
I love dogwoods and yours is so pretty!

Delete'Dommage', c'est vraie, A.M. - yet 'fragrant' to the eyes, oui, fragrant to the eyes!
ReplyDeleteyes, so true. this time of year is a riot of color and I love it. wish my nose did too (ACHOO).
DeleteOur dogwoods bloomed well over a month ago and now all the flowers are gone.
ReplyDeletewe have been much colder; this morning it's 38F. I still have the heat and bed quilts on.
DeleteGood morning!
ReplyDeleteI love dogwoods. We have a little one in our back yard.
One winter, some neighborhood rabbits (who were supposed to be hibernating!!) took a liking to its bark and almost killed it.
We now have a cage around its trunk to keep the "bad bunnies" away, and it has recovered nicely. :-)
"bad bunnies"? anything like the killer rabbit in "monty python and the holy grail"? bwhahahahaha!
DeleteMy dogwood got clobbered by a falling branch and that killed it. :-(
ReplyDeleteYours is very pretty.
Peace <3
