Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"The Heat Is On" - oh yes it is, cause it's damn cold outside!

Only 176 days til...(you know what!)

  1. Yeah! I'm first!

For what ever reason I never liked this song. Back then it really got under my skin and to this day I don't like listening to it - Maybe it was just that how movie soundtrack. But my opinion doesn't matter it's your party and next week there'll be a new song to get my feet going and my ass shaking.

  2. Ah, Mr Murphy - before we got to know what a penchant he had for....., erm, TV!

I quite liked this song back then (!985, I see), and now, listening to it for the first time in ever so long, I still do.

This year must be a lifetime record in my not yet switching on the heating until so late in the year. We're at the butt end of a remarkably mild period, which is forecast to be shooed out by a mighty (in our terms) Atlantic-originated storm due to hit us tomorrow night into Monday, which, they reckon, will usher in the Winter. (But I think that you, A.M., might class our forecasted storm as "a gentle breeze"). Anyway, looks like the happily-postponed heating switch-on will come in the next couple of days when the priority will be to keep the pussies comfy and content.

  4. This song brings back a lot of memories of Dallas in the 1980's.

Ferdinand is a cat. There's a picture in this post:
