This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Easy Lover" - wish I could find one of THOSE in my stocking!  Either Philip Bailey OR Phil Collins OR both will do! ;-b

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, David Jeffreys AND Walt!

Only 80 days til...(you know what!)  CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?

DATE CHANGE: MARCH 13-16, 2014!  HAVE YOU MADE YOUR RESERVATIONS YET?

Afraid today's choice is one I find problematic (Ooooh, I'm getting SO picky!) 'cos I can never listen to Collins, let alone see him in action, without his conservative politics getting in the way. Whether he's changed much since he once notoriously said that he would leave the U.K. if the socialists (our Labour party) got into power, I don't know. At the time he was true to his word and emigrated to Switzerland where, just by chance and 'luckily' for him, taxes happened to be lower. But for all I know he may have 'seen the light' since then, though I think we'd have heard about it if he had. It still casts a shadow for me, though.

But, if this makes one wanna dance, then DANCE!!!
    Now, where's your ABBA - ;-)

    2. I have no knowledge of phil's politics, only that he's cute as a button in this video. and you don't have to keep your mouth shut on here either. NO ABBA. EVER.

  2. Fabulous choice, AM! Phillip Bailey has one of the greatest falsetto voices. And Phil Collins and your husband closely resemble each other; I get the attraction! :-)

  4. My dance party would be "Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu" but without the 'rockin' and the 'boogie woogie.'

  5. My friends and I listened to early Genesis in high school back in the early 70’s. It was before they became a pop band. We would get stoned or do some other mind-numbing drug and listen to Nursery Crimes or Foxtrot while floating around a friend’s pool on air mattresses under a starlight summer sky. I was a stoner before I came out.

  9. Oh Anne Marie, I have to agree with Ray (beard). I can't stand Phil Collins and I didn't even know about his politics. I find him repugnant but hey, that's me. He's way too full of himself for being a Mr. Potato Head. Which wife is he working on now? Number 8? But having expressed my opinion (which I always do). I'm happy that you're happy with this midget. Just saying. Love and peace! Love and peace!
