"I intend to live forever. So far, so good." - Steven Wright
ak! I don't like the look of that!
how do you think I feel? ;-)
I detect tasteless hospital food.........and hostile nurses with orthopedic shoes......
actually, the food was dee-lish and the nurses all wore dansko clogs. unfortunately, no gay males nurses... (sad face)
Any chance you received a hot, steamy sponge bath from a yummy male nurse? :-b
nope, no yummy male nurses on this trip. I DID take a shower by myself before I left on sunday.
Partied too hard in Lewes? (It must have been so scary. Feel better really soon!)
no, but I sure as hell picked up SOMETHING nasty down there!
My Dear Miss AM, I do hope you are on the mend and feeling better soon! This winter season is dragging on much too long. Much love and good vibes to you and your hubby. Give my love to your kitteh(s). Randy.
thank you, sweetie! spouse and cat are good nurses. I had pizza for dinner tonight, so I am bouncing back!
It was really bloggerpalooza rehab. You can tell me. So glad spouse was there for you and that it wasn't more serious and you're both on the mend. Take it easy and just heal. Many good thoughts of healing energy already on their way! xxoo
thank you, lovey. you were thought of and missed at the gathering. not being able to breathe (the most basic of all functions) blows goats.
Cor blimey and love-a-duck! Rather more dramatic than I'd guessed, not to mention scary as well. It's now plain to see why you were in no mood to dance the carpet threadbare.I trust the malaise is now going in the right direction i.e. exit-wards. I wonder what triggered it - or is it just one of those things that just calls by when the mood takes it?My best wishes to you (and hubby) for speedy total recovery - and may you soon be back to familiar routines but even fuller of beans than heretofore.I'm also transmitting positive strokes for your pussy - and still look forward with eagerness to hearing news of a new arrival (when you're ready). Now take care, my dear - and NO MORE bloggerpaloozas this year!
the MD tells me it's "the flu", meaning a viral strain that was not covered by my flu shot back in november, and that is resistant to existing antibiotics. do you know how many people I know who have this flu strain virus this very second?so I went back to work cause I was bored at home.pussy slept with me most of the night, and woke me up this morning.and we CANNOT visit the shelter til we are both well again.
Oh my. Glad it wasn't more serious (although it sounds pretty serious) and that you're on the mend. :)
not being able to breathe blows goats. I went back to work today.
Hopefully you and spouse are on the mend. That must have been SOME Bloggerpalooza to have taken you both out.Thank the goddess your nurse looks handy.
I know of 1 other attendee who fell sick afterward.and my nurse is the most precious EVAH!
I'm away and just saw this. I sure hope you didn't think yourself cute and swip one of my houseboys and in the process your back went out? I hate when a back goes out on a guy. Not that I would know of course! Off to check space...................
I can only WISH it was my back...
I'm wishing you and spouse speedy recoveries.
thank you, sweetie. I have never had an episode this dramatic before.
Ah yes, the same festive covered dishware. Only mine was in burgundy. Hope you're feeling somewhat better. You're both in my healing thoughts.
coming from you, honey, means so much; thanks. wish we didn't have to see the insides of a hospital.
So sorry to learn that you suffered such distress after arriving home from a wonderful weekend. However, you ended your post with a picture of the lovely Nyla, who, I am certain, will help you recover from this ordeal.
she was smack up against my legs last night; then woke me at 7a. she's a great alarm clock.
I was wondering what was up when I didn't see a SNDP post from you.I just read Hubs blog.....Oh, how scary!!Asthma can be insidious like that.....but you know that.Get Well Hugs! XOX
blows goats, I tells ya! thanks for the good wishes, dear. perhaps I should drink that hard root beer I got from the meetup...
Oh my goodness. I know asthma is a chronic thing but this 'not briefing at all' stuff seems ill-advised to me. You should reconsider that plan. Get well soon.
honey, believe me, if I had to do it all over again, I most certainly would NOT. you take care of your allergies, ya hear?
It was nice meeting you and the other followers of Ron's blog. I wish my wife hadn't taken ill. She saw the tops you had knitted and said she would have liked to ask you about them, they looked so nice. Yes, Ron and I became best friends way back in the dark ages.Larry
hi larry! if your wife is a member of ravelry, she may find details about my knitwear there. my rav name is "phillygirl9654".did you and ron see any dinosaurs roaming PA back then? ;-)
Asthma runs in our family - mainly my dad's side of victims - so I know it can be a right bugger. It's nice to see you're up-and-abouting it more..!
I have lived with asthma for years, but it never got me down like THIS before! asthma is from my mother's side.
OMG!! Just read your husbands blog. Hope you are both recovering well.Sending positive vibes from Ireland!
tis wonderful you are, dearie! thank you!
Take care and try to keep breathing, David
such a drama queen I am! ;-bI am trying to take things slower (turtle speed as opposed to road runner speed [my normal MO]). and I have my inhalers.
I was following via your hubby's blog - get well soon !
yeah, he had to stand by and watch the whole mess go down. the hospital is 1 mile from home, so it was easy for him to come visit me, and take care of my kitty girl's needs.
was that noristown hospital, im new to your blog from judys blog when your husband was describing the scene i knew exactly where he meant. my daughter used to live in bluebell
hi debbie! montgomery hospital in norristown is closed, replace by einstein in east norriton township. I was taken to mercy suburban. not fun.
