I have the most energy today, more than I've had the past 3 weeks. been up since 5a cause a certain kitty wanted breakfast then. got plenty of household shit to do today, so I'mma gonna blast the disco music til I puke!
Hi, A.M. So pleased that you're back again, full of vim and zest. That's the you we like to hear about. I only very vaguely remember this track which, my authoritative references tell me, was an American chart-topper, though it only got to #28 here, so that explains it. I'm always happy to see pussies on film, but some of those other creatures - EEEEEEK!
nyla is napping behind me on the couch. I have temporarily run out of energy, so I am petting her and knitting. and there is a beer bread baking in the oven.
but never fear, "there's work to be done" as dr. spo always says.
I didn’t know this was a Yes song. I remember listening to Yes albums in high school with my stoner friends. Close to the Edge and Tales From Topographic Oceans were my favorites.
Oh, my! I forgot this one!! You sure can choose great tracks! Could do with you being DJ at my brother's next birthday party..... each year it's the same old shit!
I may need to put this on blast to get me goin' this morning!
ReplyDeleteyeah, the guitar parts kick MAJOR ASS!

DeleteThis is one of my favorite songs of 1984 ( and Rusty's too...); fabulous music; a bit of an acid trip of a video.
ReplyDeleteYAYZ for rusty's good taste; and yeah, a strange little video...
