Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Romeo" - I'm old enough to be that boy's lover! (heh heh heh)

  1. M'ning A.M. Hope you are feeling bright and shiny.
My wretched cough and drippy cold lingers on, though recovering inch by tedious inch.
Just been watching on TV highlights of a local marathon last weekend (in nearby Brighton) and suddenly got the inkling to return to long-distance running again which I'd been feeling too old for. Only ever did one marathon - London 1997 - but it's how old you FEEL right?

Talking of which, I never knew this Romeo track and wish I'd caught it before now. Not sure if it was released as a single in this country but I see it was Top 30 in USA. It's a beauty.
If YOU are old enough to be Romeo's lover (though not literally, of course) I am ALMOST ancient enough to be pa to Miley's dad. "Almost", I say. At 15 years old I wasn't into girls - and it still hasn't happened - at least not yet :-)
But, not to feel too bad about ageing, even the divine Dolly herself is 9 months my elder. So if I could only look like she does even now in male equivalent terms I'll be laughing!

Have a great w/e, Chuck - and see ya later! Byeeeee!

    1. as usual, king raybeard beats the others! it's now 1:30p and I have gotten much done today. at least while my energy level is high.

sorry to hear you have a cold. I think my spring allergies are starting to kick in.

I hear of 80- and 90-somethings running in marathons. start out by walking and work your way up. we old farts need as much exercise as we can get.

if you ain't into girls by NOW, you never WILL BE! ;-b

hell, if I could look like dolly right now...well, I do have big tits and brains...but that's where the similarities end. she is such a great lady!

kiss your pussies for me and nyla!

    2. Oh, A.M. If only you knew how my days are replete with pussy-stroking and pussy-kissing!

I've heard further thoughts about running. (Constant exercise is, of course, strongly advised for all us diabetics.) Why don't you and I train together, albeit at a considerable distance from each other? It would be wonderful if we could jointly enter the 2015 New York Marathon. (A niece of mine ran it 2 or 3 years ago.) How about it? Mind you - it could end up with you having to carry me over the finishing line, but I could live with that. Anyway, pencil it in!

    3. honey, I lift weights 3x/week. my asthma would NEVER approve of me running ANYWHERE.

"pussy-stroking and pussy-kissing" - and none of it performed on a female (wink wink nudge nudge)!

    4. Oh, tush, tush, A.M. Couldn't you carry a supply of inhalers around with you? (I know. Just being flippant.)

Actually some of the pussy activities I mentioned above ARE performed on (t least) one female. The little tortie who disappeared shortly after Ginger's tragedy has re-emerged. I thought she must have undergone a similar calamity but she's back - and looking to have conspicuously shed some 'weight' too. Hope she keeps it that way. So you see, as far as pussies are concerned I'm hetero - out and proud!

  2. I love how Dolly writes - she shows the men up, has fun and is still a feminist.

So, are you all business in the front and party in the back???

    1. I don't think dolly has ever gotten the full recognition she deserves.

your question - pardon me if I'm dense, but huh?

  3. Loves me some Dolly.
Years back we got stranded up in Lake Tahoe due to a freak snowstorm and were able to catch Dolly's show at Harrah's and she was f-a-a-a-a-a-bulous!

My only complaint is that my Romeo would never rock the mullet!
