Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"
All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down" - a bit o tex-mex fun for this weekend!  Flaco Jimenez (the accordionist) is muy caliente!

  2. I'm only runner-up this week, A.M., but no big deal. Makes the winning that much sweeter.
Your choice is lovely stuff once more - and I pity anyone who doesn't respond to it. Infectious and undemanding - it's what we all need from time to time.
I see this was the group's biggest hit in America, reaching #13, though not a hit here. Their biggest on these shores was 'Dance the Night Away' (#4)

So how are the three little ones? Still spitting at each other or has Nyla began to accept that G. and O. won't take her territory away from her? I assume that the new arrivals knew each other before you took them.

Hope you are well and comfy, and not sweltering TOO much. We're enjoying a 'Goldilocks' Summer up to now - not 'too' either way, and that's the way many of us like it.

'See' ya, sometime somewhere - and I still look forward to hearing your reaction to 'Jersey Boys'.

    1. A.M., it's thanks to 'Anon' below (to whom much gratitude) that's given me the spur to add hubby's name to my blog-list, something I ought to have done long time since. Now that it's done I can get regular newsflashes about the young arrivals, which pleases me no end.

    2. I have seen this group in concert and they are as lively as they appear in this video.

gigi hisses at nyla and oreo. oreo hisses at gigi and fights with nyla. oy, kids!

right now, oreo is asleep on her bed above the basement tv, nyla is sleeping on the sunporch, and gigi (who just got up from a nap) is galloping throughout the house.

gonna be a scorcher this week, AND we have a national holiday coming up on friday (no work).

  3. Don't think I can get enough of this weekend's selection. The hot accordionist is an extra bonus.

Also want to give a big shoutout and thankyou to "arteejee" for giving us frequent updates on the three little ones.

  5. Love it. I find that tune rather Cajun. Makes me feel like I woe up in Louisiana rather than San Diego.....and no worries AM you never bring me down.

  7. Finally got here at the near front of the line!
Someone is ushering; I am doing paperwork, sewing, and catching up on blogs. The pool feels good. Not bad for an introverted Sat nite.

  8. This one was unknown to me. My initial reaction was it sounded like an old Buck Owens tune. Nothing wrong with that! Thanks
