Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Why'd You Come In Here Looking Like That" - OH MY INDEED! (wink wink nudge nudge)

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Dave (no blog, but he does read mine), Raybeard, and spouse!

AND CONGRATULATIONS to Bob and Carlos on their wedding!

AND please keep the cajun and David in your thoughts; surround them with healing!

  2. Hi, AM,
What a wonderful curtain-raiser to anyone's day this would be. ((It's actually 2.15 p.m. here right now, though did check early this morn as always).
One can never have TOO much Dolly - and this is as uplifting a song as she's ever done. My toes are still tapping!

Thank you so much for including me in your list of pointers to b/days, wedding day and other more serious thoughts. It's illustrious company indeed. (Cajun, in particular, has been much in my thoughts over last few days, even when I'm not on computer, maybe because we're the same age and he seems to be the really unlucky one. I'm lacking words to say for him that might possibly help in his dire situation, but transmitting positive thoughts in his direction, certainly. And from now I'll be adding David likewise in there.)

Now I'll toddle along with that sunshiny song ringing in the memory.
    'bye for the moment.

    1. I chose dolly to honour your birthday, since she is one of your faves. plus that guy at the end...(swoon)!

I think the cajun and david really like us to leave comments to tell them we are thinking of them. a boost to the spirits and all that. even though we may not be able to call or visit, we can still leave a comment.

    2. If you really did choose Divine Dolly because of me, A.M. (and who am I to doubt your words? - I wouldn't DARE!) then it was a splendid choice in any case as there's universal appreciation of her talents among all discerning people of taste. This is a powerfully sassy and meaty number - and I ought to mention that there was more than just that one in the video who made my pulse leap. Merci a toi encore.
