"I intend to live forever. So far, so good." - Steven Wright
RIP Joe Cocker.Hope you're having a great start to your weekend. I "unplugged" my PlayStation 3, and I'm freezing over here. Really. It's 39 degrees and I'm doing laundry!
39 degrees here is a heat wave in wintertime! I did 2 loads of laundry on 12/25 and I ain't sorry!
M'ning A.M. It'll be the very early hours over there when you posted this (7.30 a.m. here) so I'm wondering if your being up and about is due to the habitual sleep-inadequacy that we both share - or (just perhaps) was it occasioned by the teeny-weeniest over-indulgence in 'making merry' over the last coupla days? Or maybe you haven't been to bed at all? - In which case, 'Nightie-night!' Neither myself nor any of the pussy-cats (five here at the mo) can be accused of over-doing it, at least not so far, with another big temptation coming along in just a few days. Just a single glass of ginger wine and two of port was all that was imbibed between the six of us - which averages out to just a half glass each!As for this video posting, although it goes without saying that it's sad to see anyone go (well, most people, that is - with my own beckoning surely not too distant) I didn't have any great feelings for Mr Cocker's deliveries, though I'm very aware that he had a faithful band of followers. I was rather more affected by the sadder (to me) recent departure of the marvellous Billie Whitelaw, but that reflects just my own leanings. However, to honour the trouble you took, I shall now play the video above in full. Hope you and all others are well - and I look forward to seeing what else you're going to serve us up in coming days, maybe even before the seasonal hols are done and dusted.(Oh, btw I posted a Xmas message on Cajun's most recent blog of, now, over a week days ago. I don't have his e-mail address. There hasn't been any more recent news from him elsewhere that I can see, so I hope he did see what I wrote.)'byeeee for now.
up due to insomnia, king raybeard, as usual. it's SO quiet at that ghastly hour, but I like it.we had eggnog on xmess eve and japanese food on xmess day. those pussies sure can drink! ;-)I will PM you cajun's e-mail addy and his home addy as well. it is disturbing not to see a post after 1 week's passing. :-(
Thanks for your e-mail with the info, A.M. Yes, there's cause for concern. Fingers here are well crossed.
you are most welcome, lovey. it's the least I can do.
Having just seen C's new blog entry (and commented thereon) I'll store away what you've given me for possible future use. (Don't want to force myself into his realm when there's a number of other computer pals living closer - though maybe not in easily accessible distance - who are at least as sympathetic). But thanks anyway, A.M..
send a card, something he can hold. I just sent one off today via the post!
