Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"And We Danced" - and danced and danced and danced!

SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!  Welcome 6 inches of fresh new snow. :(

PS - tru fax: my parental units used to take my younger sister and I to this drive-in theater in the 60s.  It's now a fucking shopping center (boooooooooooooooo!).  And The Hooters are a Philly group, so you betta RECOGNIZE!

  1. M'ning, A.M.,
Regretfully this video, to which you've go some allegiance, isn't playing, so I'll have to catch up on it by other means.
I see 'The Hooters' only had one moderate 'hit' here, 'Satellite' getting to our #22 in 1987, but can't say I remember it.

No special news here, 'cept that though it's Spring (ushered in by close-to-total solar eclipse here, though obscured by thick cloud in these parts, wouldn't you know it!) temps here too are lower than they ought to be - but at least it's snow-less. Come on, sun - do what you're there for!
Hope all are well and are just about to embark on a fab w/e.
    See ya later,
    Byeeeeeee!

  3. Great tune to start the weekend!

We're cool today, and rainy tomorrow, but not near as cold--and not a lick of snow--so I won't complain .... much.

    Maddie. Six inches. =)

  6. I didn't know they were a Philly band. How cool it that? With new snow you don't have the spend the weekend on garden clean up like I do.

  7. I hate their food, but they were a great sponsor in NASCAR. Oh, wait. You mean the band! ;-)

Johnny B is a great song, too.

  8. I'm sorry sweetie, I don't remember the Hooters either! But I have fond memories of being taken to our local drive-in movie theatre as a child in the 60s. There are very few of them left anywhere. :-(

    1. oh well, add a new song to your collective memory. not too many drive-ins left down here either; most of them are out in the west.

    1. none at all? interesting! the exton drive-in was about 20 minutes from the parental unit's house. in the opposite direction from their house was the main line drive in. we visited both, depending on what movie they were playing.

  10. Neat tune, hadn't heard it before.....! Shopping centre's are dumped on us everywhere, our town's hardly recognizable to some.
