Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Say It Isn't So" - that in IN and AR it's OK to h8...

PS -  Hall & Oates are a Philly group, so you betta RECOGNIZE!

After the 'excitements' of last coupla days it's good to be back in my familiar place of first comment - that is unless someone's sneaked in before me while I'm writing this.
Hope all are well there in Philly.
I've got Noodles sitting here beside me at moment, still anxiously looking out for dear taken-away Tortie who, in latter days, had turned untypically aggressive towards him (though strangely not to Blackso). Feeling that her babies were being threatened, I guess. Anyway, he can forget about her now, even though I'm going to take a lot longer, if I ever do.

I never knew this H & O record at all, it having reached only #69 here in 1983, and I must say it's a damn good one.
Little hottie sex-bomb John Oates had been a secret heartthrob for me at the height of their fame, and researching now at how his looks have inevitably changed with age there's still a physical magnetism there. I've also happened to notice that Darryl Hall was born just 4 days before I was. Together they made some pretty fine records, landmark sounds for the 80s era.

Are you getting seasonal weather for Easter w/e? Our temps are only inching up very grudgingly, still a long, long way from t-shirt and shorts weather. I'll be patient for a bit longer, but I do wish it'd hurry up and show some warm Spring spirit.

So, with healthy wishes for you, RTG and the little 'uns, I'll sign off for now -until whenever, but shortly.

    Byeeeeee!

  2. I was never much of a listener of music and I often haven't heard many of your Saturday selections, but I used to love these guys. Memories of my youth!

  7. Hall and Oates were one of my favorites growing up. I had a lot of their 45s when I was a kid, but through the passage of time I think I only have one of their songs on MP3. I need to fix that!

Hope you're doing better than me. I woke up in the middle of the night with sinus pressure that I hope will go away with nothing more than an antihistamine.

    1. since they were a local band, H&O got heavy airplay round these parts back in the day.

the temps might still be saying "winter" but my head & sinuses are saying "spring". owchie!
