"I intend to live forever. So far, so good." - Steven Wright
M'ning, A.M.Great 80s sound here. I loved 'Human League' and Phil Oakey's voice. Surprised and pleased to see that this one topped the American charts as it had only got to #8 here. (Their only British number one was the iconic 'Don't You Want Me?', which also reached Billboard's top).Has your Spring, or even Summer, definitely arrived now? We've just had two days of having been shown what it ought to be like, before it was taken away as though it was too much of a good thing, and we've gone back to unseasonably cold and miserable. But could be getting better again later next week, when we hope it'll remain so.Trust you and the 'other four' are well in health and dancing from room to room. All is fine here.Bye bye......for the mo.
today was 61F and sunny but windy. still have the heat on at night cause it gets cold.all well here; spouse has his second cataract surgery coming up on thursday.
Yes, I think it's far too early to think of removing the elec blanket......and best wishes to RTG for Thurs.
the first surgery on the left eye was extremely successful. cross fingers for the right eye!
Ah, if only certain people, or groups, would realize were are ALL human, and all equal, this would be a fabulous world!Have a great weekend AM ... we'll be off celebrating Carlos' birthday with friends!

Here here!!!! Bob is so right, sadly. Have a great weekend tooted, but no picture of your beautiful Ranunculus?
bob is always correct!"no picture of your beautiful Ranunculus?" - lawdy, that sounds so filthy! ;-b
If AM starts posting pictures of her "beautiful Ranunculus" I may have to stop coming by ... you know, being The Gay and all.
I don't even know WTF a "beautiful Ranunculus" is! :-/
Good morning! I hope all is well over there. I'm in a great mood. I have a touch of a cold, but nothing like what I experienced this past week.
hi sweetie! looks like you had a good week from your blog post. allergies are batshit off the wall crazy today!
But you are super-human!
(blushes) thank you, penguin. but I am as mortal as the next human.
This song brings back memories of my life in Dallas. Have a great weekend.
currently 61F and sunny here, but a bit windy. it's supposed to be warmer tomorrow. I ran around doing errands outside, chores inside, and I made cornbread today.
A song more could do some listening to. One of the bands I saw at a 80's reunion festival a few years ago! Sounded just as good, too.
you lucky person to see them live!stay tuned for more gems from the 50s-today!
Hey sweetie! Just popping in to say "hello!" I never heard of that song, either. I was one of those odd kids (and adults) who rarely listened to music.I"m on the mend from my concussion and spent the ENTIRE afternoon and evening "resting" in bed with a 30 year old tradesman with a magnificent body ....lol I'll post about it tomorrow.
WOO HOO! (for the hunk, not the concussion)I think you are the only boyfriend I have that doesn't listen to music, and that's OK with me. smooches, eh? :)
About the time I got married (I was 28) my then wife mentioned John Lennon. I said: "Who is that ?" She told me that I was the only person on the planet who didn't know who the Beatles were. lolMr. Thick-Cocked Tradesman is sound asleep beside me in bed! He's worn out, poor guy!
you are so bad, buddybear! you wore out a 30-something dude!
some are more than others.
tru fax dat, dear spo!
We're not all human, but some of us are close relatives.
hello new friend; welcome! you are "close enough for government work", as they say!
