Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Slow Hand" - OH YEAH!  Who DOESN'T want a lover with a slow hand? (wink wink nudge nudge)

  2. Well, I would dance, and as much as I am addicted to a slow hand, the Mistress is due back, so someone must get this dump cleaned up after all the Ladies Debauchery...........*shit.......where is that gin delivery *

    1. did those "ladies" ever make such a mess! I'd say you need TWO tanker trucks fulla bluecoat gin to put the casa back together! then you can use your "slow hand" to "ease your troubled mind".

  4. Hi, A.M.
I actually saw this posting of yours some hours ago, but was so distracted by the longest ever absence (10.5 hours) of my Blackso in the 15 years he's been living with me that I wasn't in the mood until now - because, with mucho relief he turned up just an hour ago, with not a word of explanation, and drinking loads and loads of water, something he just never does (he doesn't drink milk either). Goodness knows where's he's been while I've been going out of my mind with worry. He wasn't particularly pleased to see me when I picked him up from his lying on the pavement outside the house, appearing just like that as if he were a genie. No purring either, which he always does when I pick him up. Very strange. Anyway I've told him off for adding years to my life (again) though I doubt it'll make any difference. He's now lying in the sun in the kitchen - after taking five long draughts of water in the last hour.
If he tests my mettle again in the same way I'll go out of my mind. Meantime I can join in with the clapping on your video, though I my case it won't be slow but gleefully full-bodied in celebration for the return of the prodigal son.
Hope my next posting has no need to be pussy-orientated.
Have a great w/e - and don't let your own furry trio out of your sight!
    Byeeeeeeee!

    1. naughty blackso! you should NOT scare your daddy like that!

(wonder what kind of an adventure he had?)

    2. He's here still acting a bit strange, A.M., after being out all night (something he never did until a couple of weeks ago). If I spend all my waking time worrying about him I'll go out of my mind, so I'm trying to keep him at arm's length, at least mentally, but that's easier said than done. Let's wait and see what today (Sun) brings - heigh-ho!

    3. perhaps he has a girl (or boy) friend.

    4. If he has I wish him luck at his age, A.M.. In human equivalent years he must be even older than I am. But, having said that I'm always on the look-out, so why not for him? However, there IS a significant difference, in that I am 'intact'.
So far today, though, his behaviour has returned to feline 'normality'. Please stay that way.

    5. spouse is the only "intact" one in this house; cats and I have all been fixed. good to hear blackso is being a good kitty today!

    6. He's back to acting strange this (Mon) morning again, A.M. Hasn't slept indoors for what must be a fortnight now. He's currently disappeared yet again - and I can only think that he has indeed found a 'friend' of sorts to desert me for. Still, on the bright side, it means that there might even be hope for ME yet!

    7. he will return today and be stiff upper-lipped about his adventures.

    8. He came back seven hours later and drank loads of water again, saying not a word. I locked him in for a couple of hours but he sat all the time by the window (his usual exit) - and now he's gone once more. It's a total mystery as to what he's getting up to. Only wish I had one of those tracking devices on his collar.
(I hereby announce the end of this particular thread in this location. Will be continued, no doubt, in a more up-to-date spot elsewhere.)

    9. Well, I was only trying to cast a practical slant on this thread, A.M. - but your 'smiley' is noted.
Actually re Blackso (who else?) the mystery deepens. He didn't come in at all yesterday evening - for the first time ever. I got up at 30 past midnight just to check and there he was, casting a long shadow from the streetlamp. Brought him in but. after sniffing food he wouldn't eat anything - and it was exactly the same this morning, no eating. His nose is wet and he's otherwise 'normal' so he's getting fed somehow and somewhere. Right now he's been gone for 6 hours again - and up to about a month ago he'd never be out for more than half an hour at a time. It wouldn't be so worrying if he was younger, but at HIS age to start gallivanting about - and in such a hostile, dangerous world too. If he's not losing weight and sleep over his own antics I certainly am!

    10. such a disobedient child! any way you can keep him indoors?

    11. He's just been in again, A.M., eaten a lot of fishy, drunk a lot of water - and disappeared once more! (Incidentally I learned the hard way that giving them meat and fish together only makes them barf it all up - but as separate meals, fine - usually!)
I've tried locking him in, as I did when I brought him after midnight. When I checked later in the night I found him sleeping on the floor at the top of the stairs, a place he's never used for sleeping before. If I lock him in in daytime he only sits at the window, moping and gazing out longingly like Moses seeing the unattainable Promised Land. So I eventually give in, open the window and with one flick of the tail he's off, as if released from jail - to only God knows where. Wish I could switch off my concern for him but it's hard-wired into my psyche. And all the while, he doesn't care a hoot!
