This is how I am feeling right now.
Dance like no one's watching.
Sing like no one's listening.
"Notorious" - yep, that's me! :)
PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO RJ and Mangina!
PPS - Condolences to Fearsome Beard on the passing of his father. Click on the linky-luv to leave a thoughtful message for our friend.
You mean to say I'm early to a party for a change? Yes, yes... you and the 'girls' are very Notorious in these parts. I do believe RJ is still continuing her birthday festivities debauching with the houseboys............last I had heard a pair of panties was seen on the chandelier.
ReplyDeletephilly girls RULE, baby! and isn't that RJ such a little tease?
DeleteM'ning, A.M.,
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have thought that D.D., with their jarring discordances, would be any migraine sufferer's friend. However, not being one myself (thankfully), who am I to judge?
This number, getting to #7 here in '86, just about marked the start of their decline in popularity, but it's still a fairly landmark one for that decade.
Autumn comes on apace here, amid predictable warnings which we hear year after year, that THIS Winter is going to be the most severe one for over fifty years. Oh poo! - I'll believe it when I see it. If they keep saying it they are bound to be right sometime.
Otherwise all hunky-dory here, Blackso curled up beside me, Patchie likewise on piano i.e. keyboard, stool. (Haven't played the keyboard since Mr Nasty moved in below me, four years ago next month). Noodles in kitchen looking out the window. Every flaming time I go into the kitchen he'll cry for food as though he's being deliberately starved - and when I serve him some he'll give it a sniff, then turn away, adding to my already excessive household bill. But what does he care?
So how's things at your end? Any tasty tit-bits of news on any front at all? With less than a month to RTG's b/day ( I know because.....well, wink, wink) are you planning something XTRA special for him this year?. No? Oh well. Next year maybe.
That's all for now, then.
'See' ya later,
Byeeeeee!
everybody needs a little DD in their life, king!
Deletestill summertime here, with temps to match. my pussygirls are currently taking morning naps, one on each level (basement, first floor, second floor). spouse is running errands. I just woke up one hour ago and am STILL not fully functional.
for birthday/anniversary time, we are taking a 3-day weekend at the seacoast, where we will meet some blogger buds and there will be conversation/drinking/eating. and relaxation. my neighbor will look after the pussies whilst we are away.
hugs and kissies to all at your house!
On that fun w/e next month, do remember me in your toasts, as I shall doing for you and your other. (No such fancy and flashy cosmos or whatever for me. 'Fraid it'll have to be the regular cheap 'n cheerful red.)
DeleteB.N. & P. ask me to convey their own pussy-aimed tickles and strokes to yours. Aren't they just ever so sweet?
Enjoy the rest of your Sun(day).
Byeeeee!
Happy happy weekend AM!!!
ReplyDeleteWHY are weekends only 2 days long? :(
DeleteNotorious is a great song! Yet another one I haven't listened to in a long time. I'm pretty sure I have it somewhere on the microSD card on my phone.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
I'll fill up your playlist!
DeleteLove the tune. I remember watching this video at JR's in Dallas back in the day. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteyou must have been quite the dancer back in the day!
DeleteHave a notorious weekend!
ReplyDeletethe only notorious agenda item was meeting a knitting buddy yesterday for drinks and food and conversation. and knitting.
DeleteYou really feel like that song, Ann Marie? What have you been up to? If you want to be notorious in Blogland, you'll have to show us your knickers!
ReplyDeleteI don't wear knickers, so there's nothing to show!
Deleteoh, too much shouting in this one.
ReplyDeleteI will take mozart today rather hohoho
where will you take mozart? bwhahahahahaha!
Deleteperhaps next week will be more to your liking.
can't dance this weekend because I hurt my back moving heavy stuff and burned my arm with hot grease. I'm admittedly not too keen on Duran Duran, anyway.......but I might change my mind after ingesting a few beers.
ReplyDeletebeer makes everything better. so does vodka & gin (for me).
Deleteas I said to spo, perhaps next week's selection will be more to your liking.
If you are notorious, it's in the best possible way:)
ReplyDeleteHope your insomnia has backed wayyyyy off.
eh, no. it's a menopausal leftover. some nights I sleep through, other nights it's like a yoyo. I cope and deal.
DeleteI hear ya. I don't think I've slept soundly regularly since the kids were born. And that's been a few years ago. grin.
ReplyDeletethen just wail til you hit menopause! :)
ReplyDeleteBeen there, done that:)
ReplyDeleteoh well, then...
Delete;-)
Duran Duran are the best, they're just sooo incredible...
ReplyDeleteyou are catching up today, aren't you? simon le bon (swoon).
