  5. Good afty, A.M. (And a big 'Ta' for the mention above) Wishing an EXTRAordinarily Happy Day to you and RTG, and I'm sure you'll be raising a glass or more to the day. So it's 'Bottoms Up' from me - and from the pussies too.

Must confess I was getting a teeny-weeny bit concerned as I (nearly) always catch your w/e posting on my morning shuftie at the screen. It's now the start of my p.m. trawl and, with some relief, here you are! Doesn't matter about the reason for your tardiness today, unless it was for something special that you wish to share.

This choice of yours captures the great lady when she was at the top of her game and quite a while before the demons started dragging her down. But here she had her glass-shattering voice which has been the template for every inferior wannabe since that time.
I note that though this got to the top in your country it only made #5 here. Well, as so often, there's no accounting for tastes.

All well here. I'm still waiting to get my first morning prick as the lancing device isn't working and I have to request another one.
Weather continues to cool. Pussies at night wanting to join me under the duvet. Not too bad with one but when two both want to get under it's not exactly comfortable or practical, even.
Regards to you and your 'brood' irrespective of number of legs.
Have a happy (remainder of) w/e.

    Byeeeee!

    1. I just HAD to give you a shout-out on your birthday! it wouldn't be right to ignore you, my king!

"raise a glass or more to the day" - and THAT is why the dance party post was late; I slept in. alcohol was consumed at friday night's mexican dinner.

"it's 'Bottoms Up' from me - and from the pussies too" - heh heh heh, you said "bottoms up"! ;-) personally, I am a top...

my pussies were good for my neighbor. tonight is to be 33F; and my heat is on.

    2. Third para in your comment is too much info, A.M. I'll pretend it was never there, even though my mind has gone into overdrive! Perhaps it's a sign of your having consumed one too many margaritas the night before? Well, as long as you had the super time that you clearly did.

      Delete
    3. no margaritas for me; I don't like tequila. it was a pitcher of passionfruit sangria that did this old girl in.

    4. I've never tried sangria (yet). When I come over you must introduce me. Only question is, will it be before or AFTER I die? :-)

      Delete
    5. sangria is either red or white wine with plenty of fruits and their juice muddled about. dee-lish!

    6. You've just got my salivary glands working up a sweat - and I can't remember the last time an F had that effect on me!

    7. over here, red sangria is red wine, lemons, limes, oranges. sometimes it's red wine, blue/black/straw/raspberries (all da berries). fabulous stuff, and you get a minor buzz from the wine.

    8. Hope it qualifies for my requirements as being a low-sugar concoction. If it's all fresh fruit should be okay. Sounds delish, though I'd be hoping for something with a slightly bigger kick than a "minor buzz". I'm sure a further addition (or two) might see to that.

  7. It's amazing how a song can teleport you back to a time and place in your past in mere seconds. This was a good memory, thanks for posting!

And congratulations to all those celebrating anniversaries and birthdays.

Anne Marie - we need to come up with a catchy DJ name for you (hopefully someone more clever than me can come up with one). DJ Annie M???
