Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Funkytown" - won't you take me there?

PS - {{{{{hugs}}}}} to Janey, Goddess of Springtime.

  1. OMG I haven't heard this song in a very long time, and I loved it back in the day.

I'm feeling better physically. If I can get a full night's rest tonight, I just might get back to my normal exercise routine tomorrow.

  2. Never did small boobs look so becoming. :) Wiggling the thighs and butt like that has got to be good for health, right?

Not sure what the goody is that you're offering us on this Sat morn. I think I know, but even the title's not coming up for me. I'll just have to shake my tush to what I imagine is this little number.

All well here, though I do wish the temps would rise to what we usually expect around this time. It hasn't even touched daytime 50 in these parts on any day this year so far - AND we're still getting night frosts. I imagine that you're doing somewhat better, lucky you.
Are you and RTG now fully recovered from recent
inconveniences, or are traces still lurking to spoil things?

We've got a certain Mr Trump plastered all over our news this morning - or rather his NON-appearance in the Windy City. Have you ever heard of him? (Tee hee!) Maybe if he does show up some wag might suggest re-naming the place the 'Windbag City'!

Apart from that all well here, Patchie feeling it his duty to chase off the latest visitor, a big, bushy-tailed Tortie. I suppose he thinks he's protecting me but, as you know, ALL pussies are welcome to this domain so when P's not around I try to coax the timid Tortie inside. Such are the dramas of life!

Strokes and tickles to your furry trio from all here.
And you do have a jolly nice w/e yourself.
    Byeeee!

    1. I've just read the recent post from RTG so you'd better scratch out end of 2nd para above re 'fully recovered', though my wishes are still there, and now made in a wiser spirit.

    2. dammit dammit dammit, I had a nice comment all ready to post! now I gotta recreate it!

last week's temps hit record highs on 2 days - 82F! seasonable weather is back today; 60s F.

spouse will ge back to work tomorrow; I still feel a bit under the weather. but the warm sun and spring flowers are helping. the pussies are also good nurses.

awwwwww, a new pussie come to visit you!

have a good week, dear! pet the furkids for me.

    3. Our longer-range forecast is that it could well stay below 50 until at least Easter, which is really depressing. I'll have to cheer myself up by imagining the weather you're experiencing.

As long as new visitor Tortie doesn't sprout any kitties I'm happy to have here coming anytime she wants - like twice yesterday. But she's probably middle-aged, I reckon - and if she does have little 'uns I know it won't be any of my threesome who are to blame.

I hope your weather and the three whiskery ones will continue to keep the two of you on the mend. My own trio too send their regards.
Nice week to you as well.
      Byeeeee!

    4. Oh, and btw: Re my comment on Chicago being the 'Windbag City' - yes, I did know that its 'Windy City' nickname comes from its historically being the venue for many significant political conventions (of both parties?) rather than any air currents (at least I believe it's so) so my Windbag/Windy was a bit of tautology, I suppose. (That's just in case someone was going to point it out to me).

  10. I'm there! I just put up the O'Jays (remember them? Of course you do) in recognition of the approaching Ides of March. It's a beautiful day so I'll boogie out to the deck and watch the snow melt.

  15. Musical flashback, I guessed late 79-80 correctly, I was having an "affair" with the spouse of a client when that one came out, I can remember driving down New Smyrna beach in an MG convertible with the radio blaring, I felt so adult.
