2 of my 3 girls like their tummies rubbed. and they know I am mommy and spouse is daddy; I would rather have cats than human kids. are there no lions or tigers in your safari camp?
No wonder all your fur children were worn out and sleeping hard, that was a fantastic Mum's Day Breakfast! Whew!!!
One year the kids wanted to make me breakfast in bed, and hubby didn't do breakfast foods well at that point in time. So, I got up made my breakfast and went back to bed so they could serve me "breakfast in bed". Next year I asked for them to make me lunch instead, something they all could do, sandwiches! In the living room! No work by me!
bwhahahahaha! spouse made corncakes for breakfast and BBQ pork chops for dinner. this saturday we will go out for seafood; we NEVER go to a restaurant on mother's day!
They are such thoughtful little hairballs. Much as they love us I still hesitate to turn my back to them for very long. I clean their litter boxes every day and even give them baths, but the fur stays on my tongue. At least we can felt their fur.
Hello Am, You have such thoughtful pussies there in the home, they are truly the good ones. I don't know when if ever I'll get another one. My last kitteh pasted about 10 years ago. On an unrelated note, after a six month dry spell I've started to blog again. I've should have done it much sooner but I wanted to blog about my trip to Spo-ville and Arizona. I don't know for sure but next year sometime I hope make a trip to Western PA and maybe make it out to Philly. How are on time seeing Midwestern visitors? Randy in NEB.
Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeletethank you dear; hope your furkids were good to you also!
DeleteIf only my Furkids would make me breakfast! They left me several generous gifts in their litter boxes.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mamma's Day!

ReplyDeleteyes they are; good little girls!
DeleteI suppose you BOTH ate and are now airing out the undercarriage. And don't forget to air the Danny on this, most sunny day.
ReplyDeleteI am ALWAYS airing out my fanny! spouse made corncakes for breakfast. and I had a nap about 11a.
DeleteI hope they sent you a card - but do forgive them if they forgot.
ReplyDeleteyes, they also gave me a card and a gift certificate to the local nail salon.
DeleteNow that's what I call well trained!
Deleteof course they send daddy to the store to get said items...
DeleteAh well, training is still 'work in progress', then.
DeleteThat sounds like the first line of a joke, though I'm blowed if I can think of a punch line. So I'm going to let it lie.
Deletevery clever of you!
DeleteAwwww and was it breakfast in bed too?
ReplyDeleteno, not in bed; downstairs in the living room.
DeleteCats are funny when they lie with their tummies exposed. I'm never sure whether they want to be tickled or not. Do they know you're their mother?
