Saturday Night Dance Party!
This is how I am feeling right now. Dance like no one's watching. Sing like no one's listening. "Stumbling In" - after a night out with the boyz, amirite?
While watching this video I kept getting unnerving flashbacks of Donny and Marie. But it was a good era....and I'm feeling mellow.
The rain has actually stopped for a few hours but more is expected by noon (it's the ungodly hour of 7:00 am as I write this). It's painfully obvious that I have nothing of interest to say. Have a great weekend!
Never heard this song before, but your right. I'm only up commenting because I'm on the train to Philly for Organ Day! It is steamy out......yuck. Shall I give Richard a pinch for you?
I KNEW you would be "organ-ing" today. there is a simulcast performance at 11a on WRTI; I shall be listening. and yes, you may pinch peter richard conte for me!
We just got home from Cafe Strudel where we had a delicious breakfast. I had the Hangover Hash browns, which may say a little something about my Friday night!
G'day, A.M. Such a true pleasure to play this one, with the added attraction now of my having really good sound. It's a foot-tapper of 'quality' easy listening, and there sure ain't anything wrong with that. I don't remember it at all, though I see that it managed to get to #41 here in '78.
All well here, though we've had yet another week where the temps have hardly climbed out of the 50s. Will we get a Summer at all this year, we're wondering. Hope all's equally okay with you and yours, or yet better. Have a jolly nice w/e, just for me, please. Byeeeeee!

we are hitting 90F today, with heavy rainstorms forecast for tomorrow. I am still in recovery from the damn bronchitis, but getting stronger daily.
the air conditioner broke down last weekend; that is now fixed. today a pest control person is coming over to treat the kitchen door overhang for nasty wasps (I am allergic to stings). I have to buy a new toilet seat for the downstairs throne. and I just returned from grocery shopping. such is the exciting life I lead.
the pussy girls are all napping, as is spouse. I have a live organ concert playing on the radio. time to put the feet up and knit a bit, I think. and a baseball game will be broadcast at 3p.
In my ignorance didn't know the name of Chris Norman, and so didn't even know from where he hailed. But one can't now EVERYthing!
Sounds like your Summer is an eternal struggle for you between what's good about it and all that goes along with it that gets you down. Not a very pleasant situation with which you have to cope.
Temps are dismal here on the coast, despite forecast of it being in high 70s, as was forecast for yesterday when I was seriously contemplating turning on the heating. It's what it should be in a large part of the country but looks like we in these environs have drawn the short straw. However, pussies aren't complaining, and that's the main thing. Do have a nice Sun.
the pest control person used no chemicals, only green natural items to repel future nest building. the toilet seat was replaced by spouse this morning. I got the oil changed in my car. we are waiting for this evening's thunderstorms to come through. we both took afternoon naps. the pussy girls are beginning to stir from their naps, cause supper time is in 1 hour.
Good morning. It's not even 10 o'clock yet and it's already hot. We might even hit 100 today. I wish I were in a better mood. I'm mourning the loss of Muhammad Ali right now.
90s! Good grief! Raybeard can't be far away. I was shivering yesterday but Summer forecast starting tomorrow. Suzi Q - what can I say. Well now you ask, I must say its the first time I've ever seen her NOT wearing leather! She still rocks! JP
Ah Suzi Quatro! Wasn't she a hard rocker rather than a singer of sentimental ballads? Do you enjoy a night out with the boys, Anne Marie? I'm sure Mistress Maddie could lend you some of her boys for the evening. :)
