Saturday Night Dance Party...

... will be suspended until further notice.

I don't feel like dancing.

To see why I don't feel like dancing, go here.

  1. Take your time ... we'll be here when you feel up to coming back.

  2. Well no one throws a party like you do so I am hoping this is just a temporary arrangement and the next gig will be rescheduled for next Saturday. Apparently Fearsome Beard is proposing moving to London. We've offered him a post a Barista at The Spanish Onion for the next four years. If you and your husband are any good at mixing cocktails and shaking a maraca at the same time, come on over.

  3. I love you my dear. The bully thing knocked the wind out of me on the playground this week just as it did you. Take you time but don't let the bully thing ruin recess for you permanetely. The playground still belongs to all of us and we can take it back.

  4. Understood perfectly, W.Q. (That's all - for now).

  5. I understand. The idea of President _____ is a disgusting one, but, to paraphrase both Gloria Gaynor and Jimmy Somerville, "We Will Survive."
And we will be stronger for it.

  6. I finally snapped at of it. I best advice is you did your part and the thing you can control. Whoever was going to win would and did win. Now you must not let this get you down to rage , anger and depression. Your a funny, and feisty woman, and if you let people get to you, they've won. I too was upset but Trump will not get me down . I refuse to let this ass ruin for parade. Take care dearπŸ’„πŸ’‹πŸΈπŸ»

  7. I hear you on this one. I'm going to write something this weekend about my feelings on this. Probably nothing nearly as eloquent as what's on that link you provided.

  8. As I said to Mistress Borghese I wondered if years ago I made the right decision to move from the US to Europe. I have missed the land itself, but yes, yes I did.

  9. Don't lose hope, Anne Marie. America remains a free country and the Orange Baboon won fewer votes than Mr Obama did in 2008 and 2012. Having an asshole for president is depressing, but it's happened before in your history and you managed to get past it.

    just don't know if
    or how I will
    get my groove back

  11. It will get better. It always does. Look what we've been through since 1960. The Viet Nam war, the 1970's, the AIDS crisis, the Reagan and Bush years and 9/11. Take time to process it then get your inner bitch back. I don't know what I'll do but I'll do something. RJJS

  13. Don't put away your dancin' shoes, this party's just gettin' started! The Republican were planning on 4 more years of Hillary hate, now they have a non-Christian in the White House who's strategist is anti-semitic and yet who's son-in-law is, I believe, Jewish (Kushner?). Donald Trump will be a pain in the ass for us, but he will be their worst nightmare because everything he does wrong will be blamed on them. Anybody got a noisemaker?
