G'day, W.Q., Haven't heard this one since, well, since it got to our #5 in '87. Ah, these evocative sounds!
Has your snow melted after its brief(?) call? Once we get this w/e out of the way looks like temps will start rising again and, with a bit of luck, that just might be it for Winter. Let's hope so but still a little early to be counting our Easter chicks just yet.
Otherwise all okay here, but now got another pussy here who seems determined to move in. Don't know where his/her home is but slept on top of kitchen cupboard for last three nights. Concerning, not least in case it has kittens. Not sure yet whether it's M or F - long shaggy fur and with more than a hint of the tortie - but it's clearly a mature (collarless) pussy. As ever, I don't have the heart to send it packing, not least because it's already gotten fond of my lap. My other furry co-residents just about tolerate it. Still, problems, problems!
I'm not going to mention he-who-shan't-be-named as I don't wish to remind you and send your blood pressure on the ascent, so I'll remain silent on that score. But speaking of which, I hear the POTUS wants to build a wall (YES!) around a golf course of his in Ireland. Maybe when he flies over to inspect it its efficacy can be tested by locking him within it to see if he can get out.
Hope you and your four co-habitees are all in fine fettle. We're doing okay here - however, Noodles is still being liberal with the locations of his 'deposits' (of both kinds), causing a lot on more expense than usual on deodorant spray. Could be worse, I suppose, though not quite sure in what way.
most of the snow we received on thursday is gone, except where the plow pushed it into a heap.
awwwww, the word is out that your home is the place to go for all cats. but I do like the suggestion that was posted in squire gray's blog about microchip; mine have the chip.
baseball season starts this week and I am I ever grateful for the distraction!
Patchie is microchipped, W.Q. - at least his (former) owners tell me. Blackso and Noodles are now far too old and they never wander far anyway. I wish someone would ask around about Shaggy - as I've named it (her?). I'd at least like to know where the 'proper' home is, even if she does want to move in here - though please, PLEASE, no kittens! It'd do my head if I learnt that that's going to happen.
Spring should be arriving tomorrow so I'm putting out the 'Welcome' mat!
Oh good choice AM, this is one of my all time favourites and gets me right in the party mood. You know what? I might even mobilise myself out of this bed. JP
Good morning. Believe it or not, I've never heard this song before. I like it!
I'm recovering from yesterday. My back's a little sore, but that should be expected when I throw a huge box of VHS video tapes in the dumpster. I'm taking it easy today. I'll likely get in some exercise, and then visit my friends in town for the afternoon and early evening.
"every day it comes closer to being flushed" - NOT SOON ENOUGH! it should have never gotten to the oval office in the first place! and they bitched about hillary lying; look at all the bullshit of the past 3 weeks!
