Brain Puke XV

Look out blogger friends, I'mma gonna hurl!

Since today is Mother's Day, the cats and I have taken the day off.  This is what I received for Mother's Day.

Mike is/was my fave Monkee; this autobio comes with a companion music cd.

Miss Oreo has completely recovered from her health ordeal.

Miss Nyla doesn't care.

Neither does Miss Gigi.

Been knitting too.  Finished in time for Pride Month!  Janey was the first to see this beauty in person.

Knit this for my personal trainer at the gym.  She left to move north with her future spouse and for a better job.

In progress for myself - the back of a cardigan sweater.

Also in progress for myself - a lacy shawl; the yarn comes from Ireland.

  1. I'm glad Miss Oreo is doing better, and you're right. Miss Nyla and Torrie could be twins. I'm also glad to see you're knitting up a storm. I'm still working on multiple things in order to move. Possibly sooner rather than later. I may be able to share details on that soon.

    Happy Mother's Day!

  2. What beautiful knitting! And enjoy your book -- I see you went for the "brainy" Monkee. My fave was Mickey Dolenz although I really did like them all.

  5. Mike Nesmith was damn hot in his 'Rio' video - and for years afterwards too.

Lovely to see Miss O back. Hope she's forgiven you for what she sees as what you allowed to happen to her, rather than sulking.
My Patchie seems to have the same kind of big belly that Miss Nyla has. Don't know what caused it and though he's not suffering it's going to give him increasing trouble as he ages and finds it ever harder to heave himself up from one level to another. A worry for another day, to go with all the rest.

    2. I assume that RTG gives you an occasional, lovey-dovey pat on your "fat" (your word!) belly, W.Q., much as I do with Patchie. You must feel it very comforting. ;-)

  7. Lovely knit craft as always. I bet if you made a multitude of length and girth of gay pride willy warmers and sell them at Phillies upcoming gay pride festival, with your personality and pitch, you'd make a bundle!!!!!!!!

  8. Your kitties look so contented - it must be because of the pampering they get. Is anyone's favourite Monkee Peter Tork?
