  1. Happy Pride Month!
Pride/Stonewall is not about a parade or love. It is about standing up,resisting and fighting back.

    1. OT (kinda), Kevin Pillar of the Toronto Blue Jays made a gay slur. He is donating his salary while suspended to two LGBT charities as an apology.

'fraid B's going through another worrying patch at the moment.
I'll re-visit you here when appropriate. Meanwhile, hope all are well at yours, and best wishes as ever.

    6. He's very, very clever, W.Q. Quite scares me he does.
Btw: After a worrying couple of says he's rallied again and is now acting quite chippy. Apart from his very wobbly 'walking', in all other respects he seems healthy. Hope he keeps it up this time, or at least for as long as he can.

  4. I do like some Vanessa Williams. She's one of my girl crushes although, to be fair, I'd have NO IDEA what to do with her.
For me Pride isn't about being proud to be gay because that's just who I am, a small part of me, but it's being proud of living out loud and open and no regrets!
    Happy Pride AM!

  5. now were cooking wit gas!!!!! I am a huge fan of Vanessa Williams and own this the cassette tape this was on. My two favorite songs of hers are Running Back to You, and Saving the Best For Last. She is just amazing. pride for me has changed since always being out, and with us gays getting slowly accepted, I have noticed festivals themselves changing. But to see the look and wonder of the little just out gaylings is worth going alone too see. I remember that look well.

I think we should put you on a gay float in our parade. You could throw condoms from one! Or knitted willie warmers?

    1. "save the best for last" was played at my wedding 25 years ago. I like your idea about throwing condoms from a float!

  7. Happy Pride Month and good morning! I'm still shaking off the ZzzQuil effects, but the neighbors weren't home last night. Guess who slept nine glorious hours?

I hope you have a great weekend. I'm going to scope out another apartment complex up north to see if it's worth looking at.
