Brain Puke XVI

Look out blogger friends, I'mma gonna hurl!

First things first: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of joining Mistress Maddie for a boozy chatty gossip-filled lunch.  She, being the generous fabulous marvelous soul she is, brought me presents:

A hand-made bamboo cheese board from P-town and my fave gin distilled in Philly.  THANK YOU MADDIE!  LUNCH WAS FUN AS ALWAYS!  SMOOCH!  One question: why are all your friends named Peter, Dick, or Willie?

Maddie was the first to see this item in person:

Yes, I knitted my own summer tote bag; took 3 weeks using a 100% cotton yarn.  Looks delicious enough to eat, right?  I call it my summer sherbet bag.

More baby sweaters are being made:

One co-worker's wife and one of my gym trainers are having babies later this year; they each received a red sweater.

The crape myrtle is in bloom:

And the cats are doing their thing:

And I felt so butch after putting this little item together:

A hibachi, for when the large charcoal grill is way too much.  This is just right for smaller cook-outs.  Today it will be used for pork chops.

  3. Oh .... to be a fly on the wall during that luncheon .... if I had been the server I would have pulled up a chair and sat myself down for the 'dish'.

  7. The pussies look in wary, or even startled, mode. Whatever's made them more alert hope that they're back now in a 'guardian' frame of mind.
Give them all a gentle stroke from Albion, would you please?

  8. I love the sherbet bag, and I love seeing the kitties. I'm glad you got to meet Mistress, but when I first saw the first picture I was thinking "Who's getting spanked? Oh, wait a minute. That's a cutting board of some type."

    1. THAT was my first thought - she bought me something with which to spank the spouse. she even told me to bore holes in it if I were going to use it for that purpose. NOT ON YOUR LIFE!

maddie and I met for the first time 2 years ago; we get together for an annual bitchfest. maddie lives about 30 minutes from my location.

  9. Love Crepe Myrtle, wanted to put it curbside but knew it would get too tall and PP&L would end up shearing off the tops.

    1. thank you, dear; everyone is an artist in his/her own way. mine just happens to be with 2 sticks and some string.

lunch was laughter, one-liners, double entendres, booze, food, good times; but no sex. :)
