This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Too Much Time on My Hands" - take away the Dump's cell phone and put his lazy fat white ass to work!

RESIST, INSIST, PERSIST, ENLIST! (thank you Hillary!)

ORGANIZE!  MOBILIZE!
TAKE A KNEE!  RAISE A FIST!

  2. G'day, W.Q.,
D'you like the way the 'draining of the swamp' is going? P'raps it's not happening nearly fast enough as you'd like.
Have yourself an extraordinarily fine w/e - please!

    1. I don't know how much we, the intelligent people of the USA, must endure.

how are noodles and patchie? and you? and the stupid h8ful neighbor?

    2. Noodles very worrying. His bloated, distended tummy (after having drunk so much water which just won't go away) makes it hard for him to move about - and it all happened so fast. He doesn't go out now apart from onto the sloping roof to do his wees and stinkies, and where I always get afraid he's going to roll off and onto the hard concrete eight feet below. But the vet says at his age there's not really anything they can do. Apart from his waddling around he's not conspicuously suffering. It's just a matter of waiting and watching for any developments.
      Patchie's okay, thanks - but he's only about 8.

Mr Nasty's been behaving perfectly well. No trouble at all. I think his getting to know that I'm on a waiting list to move, and it was all due only to his behaviour, has sobered him up a bit (literally!) and given him pause for thought. Hoping there won't be a 'relapse' - but I still want to leave anyway, even if he were to move out (very unlikely).

Hope you and yours are well, and that you are surviving satisfactorily America's troubled times (when are they not troubled?). I always steel myself when watching the news while waiting to hear what's 'his' latest tweet, and ready to roll my eyes towards heaven.

Have a fine week ahead for you all.

    3. poor noodles; sounds like kidney issues. :(

where would you like to live? and as a pensioner, are there only certain places you can go?

is there ANY superhero out there that can save us from the dump?

    4. I'm aiming to return to Oxford, W.Q., where I lived 1975-88 and where I was the most 'culturally satisfied'. I need a place which offers intellectual stimulation, and Oxford delivers it in lorry-loads, largely because of its University, of course - with everything available within walking distance, being a smallish city with a pop. of only about 120,000. At my age I want my next move to be my last, and to somewhere where I'd be happy to see out the rest of my days.
I'm now on two waiting lists there for retired persons' accommodation, though currently low down as to priority. But if and when the call comes it can't come soon enough.

As for you-know-who, it's a crying shame that the opposition hasn't yet found a figure with some charisma around whom the huge and increasing anti-T feelings can coalesce. I wish they'd get a move on. There surely must be someone by now!

  4. Morning! I just watched Joy Reid's interview with San Juan's mayor a few minutes ago and I'm mad AF. There is nothing supreme about his whiteness. He's incompetent, immature, and irrational.

He needs to drop the golf clubs and get to work!

PS I also love Styx and have a great weekend.
