  4. Great song for a Saturday morning. We need more than a miracle. We need someone to hold House Republicans accountable. Did you know they introduced legislation to remove Muller from the investigation due to the Uranium One deal many years ago?

    Yep, that happened yesterday.

  6. G'day, W.Q.
I'm a little late this week, which you may understand through my trying to hold myself together after the sad happening of exactly 48 hours ago - but got to move on.

This track didn't ring any bells with me at all, though I see it got to #27 here in '96. However, I appreciate that, as with most of your recent choices, it's the aptness of the title which is the thing.

Will he get through his marathon tour of Asia without dropping any clangers? Of course he won't. It'll be an accomplishment if a single day goes by without one. But how will he manage going so long without a single round of golf? The build-up of mental pressure will be excruciating for the poor fella - or perhaps one of the several leaders he meets will oblige him.

Have a lovely w/e - and bestest wishes to all of you from self and Patchie, sleeping on the settee behind me.

    Byeeeeeeee.

    2. Yes, seems I talked too soon about the Donald missing out on golf. Still, good to see that he's getting in a bit of recreation and relaxation amongst all the hard grind he's doing on the world's behalf. After all, we need to have him acting at the peak of efficiency, don't we? (Hah!)

Patchie is definitely more subdued and reflective than his former 'me first' self. I'm sure he's very aware that he's now alone, and that in turn makes me feel sad for him too. I suppose he's wondering what happened to both Noodles as well as Blackso, until not so long ago. I didn't know I could value Patchie's presence more than before, but now he gets my entire attention, lucky for him.
He sends his greetings to your threesome, greetings with absolutely no qualifications, as do I, also to you and to RTG.

  9. The only song I know by these guys is "The Living Years". I didn't care for the eighties much. Raising kids at the time kinda eroded my brain. Yes, I'm blaming it on the kids!

  14. Cool video! I guess we all need a miracle now and then. An American won the women's NYC marathon. THAT was nothing short of a miracle. She was (is) awesome!
