DeleteGreat song!
ReplyDeleteI figured it would fit the current situation in the USA...
DeleteOMG I haven't heard Radney Foster since I used to watch CMT and TNN. You know, back when they were country music networks that played music videos. Great choice, and I love MCC's music too.
ReplyDeleteHELL YEAH I remember those days...80s & 90s country music...before the GOPricks/pop stars took it over...
DeleteNever heard the song or of the artist.....but I do know Mary Chapin Carpenter. I enjoyed it with my morning cawfee!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI had a busy week...I'm relaxing today.
I saw MCC live at wolf trap when I lived in DC.
DeleteI don’t know him or the song but I’d kill for his hair.

all is well here at our casa; can't say the same for our guvmint though...
DeleteI too never heard of him or the song...and I'm 51. Now I hear the government shut down? And the women marched. Sad part is probably neither phased him.
ReplyDeleteI don't know the guy or the song, but did enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI was in the glorious city of Philadelphia this weekend for the Women's March and it was packed, upwards of around 40,000 I think I heard. I was happy to see some trans woman there, but some of my friends didn't go as they thought the event didn't represent all diversity. But that's not what I saw. Since Ill be a woman one day I want to know I will have equal rights. And it was a glorious day weather wise too. I wondered if you were in the crowd? I thought I heard some swearing toward trump from a corner????
THANK YOU for marching! I had 3 friends marching for me and my spouse in philly (spouse and I have mobility issues). from the pix I saw, ALL WOMEN were represented!
