Look out blogger friends, I'mma gonna hurl!
As usual, been knitting things. Here is a baby cloud pillow for one of my co-workers:
And a shawl for my doctor's receptionist (Miss Nyla's tail included for perspective):
And a scarf for the owner of the nail salon I frequent:
I bought some whimsical items to brighten up my workspace:
My african violet is blooming for the 6th time; I keep her at work:
And Miss Gigi and Miss Oreo are keeping us company this long holiday weekend.
Should we be seeing your pusses on display like this??? I love African Violets. They make me feel happy for some reason.
ReplyDeleteI half expected to find you naked in the pool with the Mistresses infamous houseboys on your holiday over there?!
my pussies love to show off for my faithful followers!
Deletethis is my first african violet.
"naked in the pool with the Mistresses infamous houseboys" - well, it's only 58F here at 9:30a and cloudy. and me naked with the houseboyz would make a person hurl!
Pretty kitties! (Don't tell Abby!)
ReplyDeletemy girls say MEOW! and WOOF to abby!
DeleteOooh, I love the knitting. Everything looks so soft and colorful. I wish I could've learned to do that when my hands worked.
ReplyDeleteMy late mother-in-law was the only person I knew who could grow African Violets. Every time I see one, I think of her fondly.
this is my first african violet. glad I could make you smile with both the knitting and the plant. I knit to keep the hands flexible.
DeleteI love cats and dogs pictures. I have four african violets. One of them is in the TV room where my husband watches TV all day long. That one is going completely crazy. Better it than me ahahahaaahahahaaa!
ReplyDeletehee hee hee! hope your leg is feeling better!
DeleteYour knitting is beautiful. The cats are simply lovely. And.... wait... Wait....WAIT! Is that a black light, 3D Peace Poster hanging on the wall?
ReplyDelete3D but no blacklight. I bought that over 25 years ago when I lived in DC. true today as it ever was.
DeleteWhere did the 'hurl' happen? - and why? (Never mind. We know you didn't mean to leave the word there).
ReplyDeleteNice, positive pics. Attractive though the shawl, scarf etc are - the happy result of careful hours spent, I'm sure, are - my attention is drawn to two other 'objects'. (No need to 'guess').
an invisible hurl, dear. I knew you would love to see the pussie girls!
DeleteYou do beautiful work! I want a man-sized baby cloud for myself! We had a couple dozen African violets at one time with grow lights in the basement. I would move them up and downstairs in cycles and I would feed them with seasonal violet foods. So much care. Yours looks better!
ReplyDeleteI water the african violet 1x/week. that's it.
DeleteI can make you a man-size cloud. what color would you like? this will be fun AND I am dead serious about making it! PM me at girl9654@yahoo.com!
That baby cloud loos ultra soft... even in the picture. You have quite the talent with the knitting and the plants.
ReplyDeleteI need that 'I Don't Work Here'mug!
Gawgeous kitties... even Miss Nyla's tail!
I knit the pillow, my co-worker stuffed it. now he has a shared story for his daughter, due june 5.
Deletethe mug and the rainbow light came from here: https://www.bando.com.
the pussie girls say MEOW to your furkids!
You do beautiful work! The African violet reminds me of my grandmother. She had tons of them. She'd always give me one every time I visited, but alas I would always manage to kill it.
ReplyDeletethis is my first african violet. water 1x/week and it blooms. put it in the morning sunshine. seems to do ok.
DeleteOooh, kitties! I really love the knitting projects you have going on there, especially the baby cloud.
ReplyDeletemy pussie girls say MEOW to your pussie girls! that cloud pillow was so easy to make.
DeleteLove the neon rainbow!

Deletethat's where I purchased the rainbow. they sell a bigger one too! but the big one would have been too big for my space.
I like the coffee mug best but I would get the pink cloud first.
