Saturday Night Protest Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Everybody Everybody" - GET OUT AND VOTE ON NOVEMBER 6!

"Keep believing. Keep marching. Keep building. Keep raising your voice. Every generation has the opportunity to remake the world.” - Barack Obama, July 2018

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY (November 8) to Dave

  1. Loving the tune this morning.

PS You know I loathe Oprah, right? Well, when the Big O was campaigning in Georgia for Stacey Abrams and told the mostly black audience that not voting was a dishonor to their ancestors who were property or not allowed to vote.

Then Carlos and I watched an episode of Madam Secretary where he young daughter wasn't voting because the candidate disappointed her.
MS told the kid that people fought for her vote and the day that a candidate doesn't disappoint her will be the first time that ever happens.

Vote to honor those who died so you could vote!

    2. I've got to wait another 2 weeks to get my jab, even though I asked for a 'prick' in mid-September. I hear that this year it's a concoction which leaves the arm more sore than usual. Still, there's not much choice in wanting to be safe, is there?

Hope that the news coming in in less than 2 days from now will be instrumental in giving you and RTG a welcome 'lift' - and I'm sure that if it goes the way we desperately hope it will the mood will be catching to the little furry 'uns too. I'll be watching with sharpened attention.

    3. the MD told me the same thing about the sore arm; never had it. guess it depends on the person.

RTG has left to go vote; our polling places open at 7a. I will go in 1 hour. chins up!

    2. I still can't post comments. I voted by mail. Voting in Colorado is so easy. Vote by mail or vote early or show up on election day. Every state should do it this way. RJJS

    4. First I miss RJJS in Denver. Always loved his blog, I need to get back over there.
Second is I discovered that if I link my blogger blog to your blogger blog my identity pops back up and I can comment as me. It links to that blog I don’t use but at least I’m not anonymous. Smoooch!

  11. I stood in line to vote when a very elderly black lady, in her Sunday best including hat, shuffling on a cane, arrived to cast her vote. Tears were streaming down my face. This is THE election of our times.
