Saturday Night Protest Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"It's A Miracle" - that's what the blue wave is!

"Keep believing. Keep marching. Keep building. Keep raising your voice. Every generation has the opportunity to remake the world.” - Barack Obama, July 2018

  2. Shame that we have to rely on 'miracles', W.Q., rather than just plain reason and intelligence. But there's bound to be more of the former as the latter is on the scarce side.
In half an hour off to see Michael Moore's 'Fahrenheit 11/9'. Hoping to learn something I didn't already know about POTUS, as well as some laughs - and there ought to be more than a few of those.

Have a fine w/e, all the five of you - says me, Patchie & Blackso, but I've now got TWO new daily 'visitors', both young and small - as much a worry as a delight. Of course I can't just chase them away, can I?

    1. Not many, or even ANY, laughs, in the film, W.Q. - though it does abound in frustrations!

    2. reason & intelligence is pretty damn scarce over here; too many dump devotees.

we had 3" of snow on thursday, which has now melted away. we set a new early snowfall record; philly records go back to 1884. I stayed home as I am currently fighting bronchitis; RTG went to work and it took him 25 minutes to drive the 2 miles between his office/our house (normal is 10 minutes).

ooooooooooooooooh, 2 new visitors! they sure know how to find you! can you get a picture of them?

3 work days this week, then off thursday & friday for the "holiday"; doesn't mean anything to me.

you and the furkids have a good week. it's turning colder and grayer.

  3. I can't believe Thanskgivin' is Thursday already...my favorite meal of the year....my aunt will cook, she is amazing. If were lucky maybe the dump will choke on a wishbone. Now that would be karma.

  5. Oh, how I loved Culture Club (although this was not one of my favorite songs). We were just last night talking about Boy George. It's a miracle!

  6. It's been a long, long time since I've heard Culture Club. It's also a nice way to start the morning.

Speaking of miracles, did you hear that all of Orange County here in Cali turned blue? It's true. Every single one of those Republican Congress critters are gone!

    Have a great weekend.

  7. I hate to tell you but I’ve never been a fan of CC. And I can’t bear BG. But enough about me!
I’m still livin’ the solitary life in Manchester. Tonight it’s a pizza at a table for one. But enough about me!
Hope you and the hubby and the cats are cosy and snuggled up. Have a good weekend babes x

  8. I'm with JP about Culture Club. I did like Church of the Poisoned Mind, though. I also like BG's Crying Game. That's about it.
How are you doing, Carebear? Are you over your bronchitis yet? I feel for you. I've been getting coughing fits just from bringing in the mail. The smoke is horrific and we are 150 miles away from the fire! We're due for some rain by Wednesday, so they tell me. I'll believe it when I see it!

bronchitis is still hanging on; thank the dogs & cats I am not in cali cause I would not be able to breathe! I don't envy all y'all out there. the destruction is horrible. I hope all those who are missing are safe somewhere else.

  9. I suspect it was less a miracle and more the result of people like you pounding sense into people's brains.

And Culture Club had some catchy tunes, sad they relied on Boy George's gimmickry.
