Saturday Night Protest Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Everybody Loves A Clown" - but everybody hates Donald Dump!  Personally, I think clowns are nightmare fuel.  And yes, Gary Lewis is the son of Jerry Lewis.

"Keep believing. Keep marching. Keep building. Keep raising your voice. Every generation has the opportunity to remake the world.” - Barack Obama, July 2018

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY (July 7) to Dr. Spo

  1. I dislike clowns but I enjoy clown songs, my favorite being See the Funny Little Clown by Bobby Goldsboro. I think that's who sings it. It's his voice I hear in my head, anyway. This dude is more like Pennywise from IT, only minus the wise.

  2. Clowns in a circus are fine but anywhere else is a little creepy. @Deedles I like "Send in the clowns" sad but a nice song.

    1. Steven, I can appreciate that song, but it's a little too draggy for me. There's not enough warmth in it for my taste. I like my sad clown songs to be a little more peppy :) Oooh, Tears of a Clown! Now that's the ticket!

    2. Deedles, let us not forget the Everly Brothers' "Cathy's Clown". Old school, but a classic.

    3. Jimmy, I looooove that song! How could I have forgotten it? I like Reba's version also, but you can't beat Don and Phil's harmonies.

  5. I don't like clowns either in the circus or the Whitehouse!

  6. Whether White House incumbent is a clown or not, our own fully qualified circus performer, one Boris Johnson, stands on the sidelines, waiting to be proclaimed Prime Minister in two weeks time (barring the high unlikelihood of Conservative Party members NOT electing him). Having had BLOTUS' blessing I can hardly think of anything that two leaders cut from the same cloth could better cement our two countries' 'special' (hah!) relationship. Brothers in harms!

    1. I googled boris johnson...OMB! an interesting lineage on both mother's & father's sides. pity the people don't have a say in who will lead their country.

  8. Clowns are creepy. Nobody will ever tell me any different.

Every time I listen to Dump give a speech, I think that if he had never run for president, he'd be HILARIOUS. What a dumbass! And I told my friend that Melanoma standing next to him at his little dictator party looked just like a blow up sex doll. Those two are both a joke.

  9. Ever seen the film Killer Klowns from Outer Space? It's great! They eat people, though I think the Idiot Jerk in the White House would give them indigestion.
