Le Bluecoat Gin Break

Bluecoat Gin break time; be back next week!😘

Why?

First, I got my second COVID (Pfizer) shot yesterday; it's made me unusually tired and my left arm hurts like a tetanus (heh heh heh, I said "anus") shot.

Second, my spring allergies are through the roof and are also making me tired.

Third, I need a second outpatient surgery on my left leg (same procedure as the one I had in December) and the leg hurts like hell.  But I can't get a pain killer, cause some fucking asswipes like to abuse drugs and make it harder for those of us that NEED the drugs to ease their pain.  FUCK YOU!

Now to open a fresh bottle of Bluecoat...

  5. I was tired, too, and slept most of the day. There's nothing wrong with sleep. Sorry about the leg. I don't drink gin, but I'm willing to bet Bluecoat is pretty tasty.

  6. Oh, hon... so sorry for your troubles. Everything is temporary. You will sail through this and be even stronger (if that is possible) for it. Take good care of yourself. Go listen to Bette Midler sing 'Baby Mine'. Love that damn song. Sending you healing energy and well wishes. Kizzes.

    1. the COVID shot after-effects have worn off. the spring allergies won't halt until the end of this month. and the operation will take place on 4/16.

  13. I hope you feel better. And I'm so sorry you are in pain. That sucks. And yes a big F U to those who abuse it and make it harder (see hee I said harder) for those that really need the medication.

  14. Oh no!
Hope it's not too painful. People have told me the second one is a little bit harsher. And it sucks you cannot take anything! Ugh.
    Gin it is!

    1. I slept most of saturday due to the shot. my left arm was a bit stiff, but a "2" on the pain scale, with "1" being low. today the left arm is back to normal. beats being on a ventilator or 6 feet underground though. I still intend to social distance and wear a mask.

where I have the greatest pain is in my left leg. my surgeon cannot give me pain meds until after the 4/16 surgery. OTC pain meds like aleve don't really help the leg.

so I just have to wait it out.

  15. my MD is being held hostage by the opioid abusers and PA state laws. he described the procedures he needs to go thru back at my operation in december - christ, what a run around! I hope the drug abusers die!

    1. the second shot after-effects were only 48 hours long. sorry you have a sore arm; but that's better than being 6 feet underground if you get COVID.

  18. Be well soon... my 2nd was easier than the 1st jab, which was unexpected since most people I know said the 2nd Vaccine was an Ass Kicker. I'm so relieved mine was not, I don't rebound so well at this Season of Life from an Ass Kickin'. At least you got to say Anus... Laughter is the best Medicine of all, beats any Drugs... when I have fits of Laughter over Dark Humor I forget all about the pain.
