Brain Puke XXIV

Look out, boyfriends, I'mma gonna hurl!

Baseball season has started! :)  And, true to form, we lost our Grapefruit League opener to the Toronto Blue Jays, 4-3. :(

Only 14 more days til the bloggerpalooza meetup! :)

Only 23 more days of winter. :(  We had another inch of snow this morning; will this crap EVER end?

Please send mojo/karma/good wishes to our dear Sassybear as he undergoes his 3 operations to restore his health.  You will be with us in spirit at the meetup, honey!

Here are some pix from the February 18 storm; Spouse took these.  Pix #3 - notice the squirrel up the bird feeder pole.

I finished a baby sweater for my niece & nephew-in-law; they are in the process of adopting.

I also finished a winter hat for spouse.  Yes, he is secure in himself to wear pink.

I intend to wear some of my FABU knitwear to the blogger event; hey, if Spo can wear his hand-sewn shirts, then I can wear my artistic creations.  See how many YOU can spot!

I just picked up a new follower; he's known to many of you: uptonking.

  1. Nice stuff. So much talent. I just received a notice that a volunteer at the Cancer Center has a gift for me. Though it's a surprise, I am told it is a knit cap in my fave colors. How sweet is that? I'll find out today when I go in for weekly lab work.

Not sure I'll get to see you all at the meetup. The Chemo is to begin next week and no one can predict how I will react to it. We shall see.

That new hat of hubby's gonna be an irresistible target for snowballs. Or maybe that was the idea?

the hat is actually darker than pictured; and spouse picked the yarn himself. no snowballs (heh heh heh, snowballs) will be thrown; no kids in our neighborhood.

  13. Either I drank to much or need glasses, because I read that one line as artistic erections instead of artistic creations! I'm here in Boston and it's cold as HELL! I should be back in time for the big snow storm Sunday into Monday..............
