This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

  1. G'day, W.Q.,
Are you over your ailments for the present, or are they still hovering over and inside you? Hope they've been vanquished or, at least diminished markedly enough for you to function satisfactorily. Maybe your choosing of this infectious track (a chart topper here in '90, a #2 in USA) provides the answer.

All well here. I've got four 'babes' all currently in a state of slumber here, two in this room nearby me, one on a cupboard in the hallway and Shaggy, the latest arrival, in my bedroom. (I think I know where his proper home is now. Must check with them so I know where he belongs).

Otherwise all hunky-dory here, with Spring edging in ever so slowly but unmistakably. I think you're experiencing similar?

Regards to all five of you - and we'll be looking out for any news from your environs, should there be anything worthwhile to report.
    Have a jolly nice w/e, d'you hear?
    Byeeeeeeee!

    1. first as always, king!

RTG and I are back to good health again.

last weekend we had temps in the low 70sF; this weekend it's been mid-30sF. my flowers and trees are confused.

it's another sunny/blue sky day here. cats are napping. I have laundry to do today and I have breakfast for us humans in the oven. must do chores on a full tummy!

snorgles to all in your house!

    2. Over 70 and we're only just out of Feb? Crikey Mikey! Must be near-record, that. Maybe the Earth has tipped and you're now in the Southern Hemisphere, which wouldn't be inconsistent with all the other peculiar stuff that's going on.

Relieved that the both of you are back in a condition of robust health (or near enough).

Have a funday Sunday. I'm waving to all of you from t'other side of the 'river'. Cheers!

  2. Happy Friday Night, and I miss this song. I don't remember how long it's been since I heard it either. Thanks for finding this gem.

I'm about ready to go to bed, but I'm thrilled to say I'm feeling better now. My flu symptoms are almost gone. I now need to get a good night's rest so I can get back to my old exercise routine.

  5. I don't envy the men in suits who had to perform that dance. They must have got very sweaty! I would have let them wear boxer shorts and vests.

  7. Today we are installing a new toilet in the master bath--yes, I know our life is filled with fabulousness--but I am going to have to fight the power not to murder Carlos when he refuses to read any instructions first.
Luckily, digging a grave in the backyard doesn't require instructions.
    Save me.

  9. Now this is a song that can blast me right out my cave. Perfect and timeless. I predict that even in 50 years it will blast me out of my wheelchair.

  10. Ango to other perfect song for the times! Have you had to rework your song list now, for these themes of resist??? I'm mobilizing myself later to Ashtons in Philly - a cigar bar. And gin, or maybe a whiskey.
