  2. Wow, W.Q.,
This is really some Xmas gift you're sending us all this year! (And NOT the 'colourised' version, I note.) It's been top of many people's Christmas films lists for a long time, of course, including my younger brother's (now 69). Thank you so much.

Wishing you a totally happy holiday season, with the very same wishes to all your co-habitees - and a 2018 full of goodies. But wouldn't just about the finest gift be a Trumpless year, or better still, a Trumpless forever? (This from self and Patchie).
'Speak' to you later, no doubt,
    Byeeeeeee!

BOTH OF WHICH are in the White House.

I just hope I can watch A Christmas Carol now and not think of this video.

  7. As kids, we watched the Mr. Magoo version. We had no idea that it was based on anything else. It was a musical, too! I thought it was pretty good, considering I liked it and I wasn't a fan of Mr. Magoo.

  10. This passage from Dickens remain one of his more frightening inserts in all his works. It is a masterpiece to insert it where he does.

  11. I'm rather partial to the Albert Finney musical version, but this one's great too - nice to compare the two.

  12. Ooh, we should have listened about the boy. Wouldn't it be nice if Ignorance (and all his friends) got the boot in 2018. Wishing you a wonderful holiday!
