DeleteAnd Sly and the Family Stone!!! Singing LIVE on Soul Train! And... Under the Boardwalk. I used to sing that every time I was at the beach at Coney Island. You can't get under the boardwalk anymore; they filled it in with sand. Amazing how many memories these songs bring back. White America (and not the USA alone) embraces the music, the culture, and the style but not the people. As Sly (and the Family) said: Stand!
